It's always special to find the acapella's to Biggies amazing voice, his groove and flow is like no other rap artists I've heard. Ever since I heard him for the first time I've been in love with his voice and lyrics. I hope I have managed to create a good vibe feeling on this track :) Biggie deserves only the best! Alot of you guys have asked me to make another hip-hop track with some Nu-Disco influence. It feels so good to work with some Biggie vocals once again after the incredible success with "Old Thing Back"! I wanted to do something slightly different this time. I added the 2pac's vocals from "Hold on Be strong" and the track became magic! Even tho the two legendary rappers had their beefs in the past, I hope they are both sippin` Hennesey and chilling out to this track in the afterlife! R.I.P This is for you!

When @ramiofficial and I heard the original vocals of Closer to You, we immediately thought of different ways to switch up the song and give it a different up-beat feel yet keep the emotions flowing through the vocals. We made sure to keep the record as mellow as possible with the use of live instrumentation and punchy house drums.
