This is where I put the "best of the best"... it's my # 1 "go-to" playlist of what I'm currently grooving on the most at the moment, and it's as much for my own enjoyment as it is for others!  

I'm constantly changing, shifting, and moving sets/tracks around in this list (sometimes even on a daily basis). I often hit 'play' on this playlist and then leave it playing for countless hours and hours on end while I'm working so I can happily groove away on top-notch tunes that take me away to another place and carry me along an upbeat, energetic journey while I'm working. 

So I put much care and thought into the arrangement of this playlist to create an enjoyable journey that's continuously-flowing and can be started at any point in this playlist(but best started from the very beginning for the first time at least!)and enjoyed for as many or few hours as you wish... even to later pick back up from where you'd left off if you'd like to continue and enjoy all of the gems on this list as much as I enjoy them myself! Marking its seventh chapter, Melodic Therapy welcomes Polish artist Greg Ochman with a three-track release that cements his reputation as one of the most exciting voices in Organic House today. Recently charting high on Beatport’s Organic House rankings with his release on Closure, the label curated by Khen, Greg continues to push boundaries while gaining consistent support from some of the genre’s leading figures, including Sebastien Léger, Khen, Tim Green, Roy Rosenfeld and Guy Mantzur.
Known for his dynamic melodic approach, Greg’s productions are built on layered percussions, evolving harmonies and grooves that drive both body and mind. His tracks often balance a hypnotic pulse with intricate details, creating a sound that feels both playful and deeply immersive. Previous releases on Lost Miracle, Plattenbank, Akbal and others have already established him as a forward-thinking producer, while his latest works continue to expand his global reach.
Opening the EP, “Distant Bays” leans into cinematic atmospheres, combining rolling percussion with flowing arpeggios and warm pads that stretch across the stereo field. The track evokes images of vast, imagined coastlines, balancing meditative calm with a rhythmic drive that makes it equally suited for introspective moments and outdoor festival sets. Its progression is fluid and open-ended, embodying the transportive side of Organic House with finesse.
“Uye” works as a gradual immersion into Ochman’s world. Built around tight, syncopated percussion and a low-end groove that never loses momentum, the track develops through subtle harmonic layers and dynamic melodic phrases. Rather than chasing a single climax, “Uye” thrives on constant motion, its hypnotic flow designed to sustain energy on the dancefloor while rewarding close listening with intricate details that surface across the arrangement.
Closing with “Eclo”, the release embraces a more progressive edge. Anchored by a pulsating bassline and crisp percussive patterns, the track builds tension with evolving synth motifs and carefully measured breakdowns. There’s a psychedelic tint in its melodic phrasing, giving “Eclo” both depth and unpredictability. It feels engineered for peak moments: expansive enough to lift a crowd, yet detailed enough to reveal new layers with every listen.

The 138th release on Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Jobe to the label for his debut EP. The UK artist is fresh off an incredible year highlighted by releases on Sincopat, Selador and Chapter 24 Records. Now getting 2017 off to a great start Jobe presents his much anticipated debut EP for Movement Recordings entitled 'Poseidon'. 
 
Long noted for his character rich sound, Jobe delivers one of his all time best with the lead cut 'Poseidon'. Anchored by tough kicks and waves of wobbly bass the hypnotic sensibilities are evident from the beginning. Detailed percussion brings a great sense of space while a melodious arp further tantalises the senses. It's evolving storyboard is perhaps it's strongest suit as chord changes lift the vibe higher before ethereal vocals and a band of spaced out effects initiate a strong third act finale. 

The EP's second selection 'Eunis' comes in deeper yet equally emotive. A cavernous low end lays down a warm foundation before eerie synths and soulful wails bring further intrigue to the narrative. Trippy and melodic in all the right ways, it's subterranean groove and esoteric themes lead to a short and timely break, before one final rush seals it's mystical charm. 

 The release concludes with 'Paradigm' which finds Jobe exploring the darker realms of progressive techno. Evolving synth textures, bright melodies and a dark underbelly converge for the ultimate sonic collage. The UK artist always brings a flair of unpredictability to his creations and it is this unconventional flow which shines here once again. An amazing journey for both the mind and feet, and a fitting end to an excellent EP from artist set for big things in 2017. Highly Recommended.

Welcome to the wonderful world of JOBE, a dynamic and driven deep house / techno artist with a firm grasp on mood and motion. We will eagerly await the next chapter in the growing repertoire of JOBE.

AFFECT! currently based in Berlin, naturally developed his skills over different forms of musical expression. Drums for groove, cello for melodies, piano for harmonies. By drawing on his classical instruments background, his compositions consist of fine harmonic structures over deep-floating, voluminous basslines, letting someone find himself out in a certain kind of "Melodic Space“ to move in.
