Now based in Montreal, the 35-year-old has returned to the motherland where he is steadily cultivating a reputation for haunting melodies and narcotic rhythms. 

With strong connections AbVerb has considerable industry support with his focus on delivering high-quality dance floor ready cuts that channel his love for ambient electronica and transmitting deep emotion, while keeping the energy levels high.

His deft touch in the studio and adept curation have taken him across Canada, the US, and the Caribbean with performances at renowned events such as AIM Festival, Burning Man and SXM Festival. At home, Mitch Oliver has taken on the mantle of driving the Montreal scene forward through his budding Aurora events and through vibrant residencies at the likes of Velvet and Stereo Bar.

Wachgeküsst durch die erste Berührung des weit entfernten Lebensspenders, erhebt sich Mutter Natur aus ihren Winterschlaf. Vorsichtig schüttelt sie die Lethargie der letzten Monate ab und beginnt sich zu entfalten. Gleichsam Zuerst selbstbewusst treibend entwickeln sich auch die ersten Takte der neuen deep story. Die musikalische Auswahl lockt genau wie die immer grüner werdende Umgebung die Menschen aus ihren Behausungen hervor und setzt sie in Bewegung. Beschwingt schlendern sie in Scharen durch die Parks und lassen das liebgewonnene Sofa hinter sich. Sonnenstrahlen und elektronische Klänge erhöhen die Pulsfrequenz und den Serotonin-Spiegel. Zufriedenheit macht sie breit und wird getragen durch melodischen Sound. Untermalt mit gelegentlichen Vocals ergibt sich ein stimmiges Gesamtbild. Wir danken Kriszpy für diesen herrlichen Frühlingsspaziergang, der uns durch die grauen Gemäuer hinaus in die bunte Welt der Natur begleitet hat und große Lust auf die ersten Outdoor Raves macht.

His journey as a DJ was influenced by his life experience in Milan and Dubai, which made him dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the electronic music scene. His music reflects his multicultural background and celebrates the beauty of different cultures coming together on the dancefloor. 

He has been actively playing at known Toronto clubs and bars such as Reverie At the Park, Bar808, Black Sheep,… his gigs have been praised for his ability to seamlessly blend different genres and styles into a cohesive and captivating set. He makes it his goal to read the crowd and create an unforgettable atmosphere on the dancefloor.

D’un hibou, OwLïsH a les yeux, grand ouverts sur le public qui peuple, toujours plus nombreux, les pistes de danse qu’on lui confie. D’un hibou, OwLïsH a le goût de la nuit, de la pénombre et des sons qui vont avec, même si son univers musical s’étend aussi sur les territoires plus solaires de l’indie dance, de la techno mélodique et de l’afro house. Derrière ses platines, ce trentenaire élevé à Paris se sent mieux que nulle part ailleurs. Jamais il ne cesse d’échanger de l’énergie avec son auditoire. Ainsi sont ceux qui, comme lui, ont longtemps brûlé leurs semelles sur les dancefloors avant de prendre le pouvoir en cabine. Sur l’île de Saint-Martin, son paradis, les promoteurs s’arrachent les services de l’ancien cavalier de saut d’obstacles, expert-comptable et directeur de fast-food, qui a vécu mille vies avant d’embrasser celle de DJ. Sa popularité grimpe en flèche, à tel point que son nom figure désormais sur l’affiche du SXM Festival depuis deux années d'affillées, événement à l’origine même de sa passion dingue pour les musiques électroniques. Si les plages caribéennes demeurent son terrain de jeu favori, OwLïsH, aspire à propager son feu intérieur en Amérique et en Europe, en quête de nouveaux publics, de rencontres fortuites et de sensations fortes. Est-il quelconque limite à celui qui rêve éveillé ? Depuis 2022, il est resident sur le festival L'Amour à la Plage en Martinique. Organisé par Swann Decamme, cet événement, rassemble des artistes de tout horizon.

Like an owl, OwLïsH has his eyes wide open on the ever-growing audience that gathers on the dance floors he takes charge of. Like an owl, OwLïsH loves night, darkness and the sounds that go with it, even if his musical universe also extends to the more solar atmospheres of Indie Dance, Melodic Techno and Afro-House. Behind his turntables, this 34-year-old Frenchie raised in Paris feels better than anywhere else. He never stops exchanging energy with his audience. So are those who burned their soles on the dancefloors for a long time before taking power in the booth. On Saint Martin Island, his paradise, promoters are snapping up the services of the former show jumping rider, chartered accountant, and fast-food manager, who lived a thousand lives before becoming a DJ. His popularity skyrocketed so much so that his name now appears on the timetable of the SXM Festival, the event at the very origin of his mad passion for electronic music. If the Caribbean beaches remain his favorite playgrounds, OwLïsH, aims to spread his inner fire in America and Europe, looking for new audiences and strong sensations.
