"Corrado Loi alias 'Corrie' is one of the most exciting pioneers of British Tech House. Leaving the Sardinian island paradise for London in 1985 to work as a fashion designer, he quickly made a mark in the capital's nightclub scene. His first break as a DJ was in 1987 at his own club night “Roma” (frequented by London's stalwarts such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Leigh Bowery) but it was in 1989 with the explosion of Acid House when he decided to seriously pursue his passion for djing, joining the Sunrise crew first, and later securing a weekly residency at the infamous Club Labyrinth.

His first record "Hyperspector's" under his alias name of ‘Mesquite’ managed to get enough exposure to soon be released on Groove.de Vol. 1 cd series & immediately he was asked to spin regularly at venues like Tresor and E-Werk (Berlin), Ptuch (Moscow), Twilo (NYC), Turnmills (London). He has since performed in 52 countries and released over 80 singles, remixes and compilations for labels such as his own imprint; Eat More Beef, S.O.S. Girlfriend, Black Flag, Epic, Wiggle, Fabric, Lucidflow, Harry Klein, Bosh, Cubism, Unlock. Famed for his impressive long journey sets Corrie has remained one of the most respected artists amongst the original tech house scene.

“Yeah But” what about this one!? Dropping straight into a groove with transfixing percussive, this masterpiece is a hypnotic journey through sonics. A mesmerising meld of swirling pads, other-worldly vocal elements and authoritative sweeps pull you out of reality before propelling you back into the groove. Corrie demonstrates his absolute understanding of keeping the dancefloor fresh and moving with impeccable structure and choice of elements throughout this EP, unafraid to launch people down the rabbit hole leasing them a loss on reality just to yank them straight back out."

Franco-German producer Franz Matthews strikes back with his 'As I Am' EP on his own imprint 
HIFI/LOFI Records, a catchy Indie Dance groover with infamous self-reﬂecting vocals, that is set 
to wake up every festival stage this summer. Made of 2 sunny originals and backed up by 3 
killer remixes from power producers Vhyce, Yame and Tegel Boys, the EP covers all ranges of 
the Indie Dance spectrum beautifully. 
 
After a strong year 2022 with a string of praised releases like The Question, which has seen major players like 
Ame, The Economist or Innellea widely supporting its remixes of Aera & The Organism, Franz Matthews digs in 
his  spiritual  inspirations  again  with  ‘As  I  Am’.  Produced  during  Matthews'  time  spent  in  Barcelona  at  the 
beginning of summer 22, As I Am lifts off with a carpet of heavy organs unfolding in a powered up euphoria of 
synth chords, before a choir of empowering & self reﬂective gang vocals, reminiscent of early LCD Soundsystem's 
'Sound of Silver' days, throw us in our face to fully accept who we are and be proud of our uniqueness. The trip 
takes us even further in a cosmic festival of funky acid leads which will mind bend any listener that will encounter 
the path of this catchy happiness ﬁller. 
Belgian cosmic disco mastermind Vhyce steps in for the ﬁrst remix, with a spacey and mental exploration of the 
eponymous  single.  Next  in  row,  Ukrainian  ‘happy  techno’  duo  Yame  reinterpret  As  I  Am  in  a  total  opposite 
direction with their signature vocoded and bonker production prowesses. 
 
Sonnenallee,  the  second  original  track  of  the  EP,  is  a  sunny  and  slightly  deranged  funky  stomper  initially 
produced at the time of Franz's debut 'Ostkreuz' release. No one else than the fantastic disco pilot crew of Tegel 
Boys could close this EP more beautifully, with their infamous and obsessive acid-boogie styled hooks, making 
you want to dance until you can’t feel your legs no more.
