Zimo is a producer and DJ from Hong Kong. The name “Zimo” represents “指模”, which stands for “fingerprint” in Cantonese. His musical style is a hybridisation of trance, techno, and psy.

As a producer, his recent album ‘Appa’ bridges the sound of techno and trance by recontextualizing early psytrance sound design. He has also produced official remixes for artists such as Mr. Free, an alias of B From E, and Kas:st, a techno duo from France. He has released on record labels such as Ismus, Mitsu2000, and Subdrive.

As a DJ, he has played in most underground clubs and bars in Hong Kong, such as 宀 Club, Acadana, Social Room and Oma. Featured by Mixmag Asia as an 'inspiring artist to follow in 2021', his music is 'tough and humble', and 'breathes soul into his techno'. The South China Morning Post stated Zimo as ' one of the most exciting young artists to emerge from the Hong Kong music scene'. In the summer of 2020, he relocated from The Hague to London, and quickly began hosting underground music events. He has built up a reputation of being unique, at the forefront, and deeply knowledgeable about his music. He’s a resident DJ at Aaja Radio in Deptford, and runs a monthly radio show, ‘En-Tranced by Zimo’.

Happy to introduce Pierre Berge-Cia’s “Nuovo Sole” EP, a project that include remixes from Harsh R, MAN2.0, Noform, Penelope’s Fiance and swærm.

Pierre Berge-Cia presents his new release “Nuovo Sole” which will be out on April XX, 2022 on Sinister Desires. Made up of 3 original tracks, this powerful EBM-influenced EP was tailor-made to destroy clubs around the world.

Remixes by Harsh R, MAN2.0, Noform, Penelope's Fiance and swærm, are combining downtempo, dark electro and body techno, creating an eclectic release by bringing unique atmospheres to each track.

Produced in several phases, the EP was inspired by natural sounds mixed with mighty textures, a clever combination reworked in the studio of his friend Lesser-Of in London to get the best out of each mix:

“I took advantage of an isolation in the countryside to refine each piece. During this period, I made sure that my music was not biased by any outside influence. Mbodveli is the project of Tbilisi-based DJ and Producer Leonti Kvaraia from Georgia, oriented EBM and Industrial Techno. This album is his first full-length work, inspired by the struggle against injustice and retrograde generation in the post-Soviet space. Artists
representing Tbilisi's techno and underground scene: Downwell, Mova and Refresh The System contributed to the creation of the character and concept of the album. The pain recurs and the hideous bust is eaten away by rust, with guerilla outbursts and brutality as repetitive as déjà vu. No one dares to cure this madness. Every war has its
heroes: some kiss their faces out of loyalty, some wear the portrait of the leader on their cheekbones, some sit near your house and kiss you silently, some visit the drug factory to forget their inescapable weakness. Aging embryos that have not seen a ray of light sink to
the bottom of our genetic memory.
