Los Angeles–based DJ and producer Realize employs the esoteric art of using darkness as a vehicle for transcendence. His music is defined by lush landscapes with tense buildups which gradually culminate to heads down, pensive grooves. When behind the decks, he mixes cavernous bass lines, haunting elements, and uncanny atmospheres.

Realize’s productions can be found on Grand Grooves, Delusional Records, and Understated @ Nite. His tracks have received support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Nick Warren, and Chris Fortier.

Performances span from appearances for Incognito, FNGRS CRSSD, and Underrated to the historic Avalon Hollywood alongside artists such as Heartthrob, Worakls, and Low Steppa.

Realize is  playing Dirty Epic x Incognito on January 7 and The Lash on January 12. Also, his remix of Casska - Athena recently dropped on Understated @ Nite:

As the kid that he was, he played at Thunderdome Radio for an audience of 30,000 people worldwide. This was followed by performances at places like Thunderdome, Mysteryland, and Studio 80. Later on, Nick became a versatile contributor to the electronic music scene. He played a significant role in Amsterdam’s Warehouse Elementenstraat movement, followed by his involvement in Reaktor and Lofi where he is active to date.
Over the years, Nick developed a profound view on techno, resulting in his debuts at Boiler Room, Unpolished, and his beloved Warehouse Elementenstraat. Today, Nick hones his craft from his studio in Berlin, translating his vision into a tribal-induced, driving sound that evokes a holistic sensation of collective involvement on the dance floor. After having developed his ear in Hamburg, in 2019 he started playing in Swiss
clubs, in particular with his series, and future label, Temporal Variation.
Behind the decks, he is making a name for himself by offering his audience a
mystical yet sophisticated sonic journey, which has led to appearances in clubs such
as D! Club, Folklor Club, Le Zoo, La Gravière, Nordstern or Zinkbad and to join the
Zurich label Adroit.
As a producer, he has perfected his style through releases on Newrhythmic, Anaøh
and Adroit, which have been supported by many artists, including DVS1, Richie
Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, I Hate Models, or Adriana Lopez.
