RNXRX returns to VEYL for his debut album, 'Impreciso'. No stranger to the label, the artist first made an appearance on 'Previously Undisclosed Rituals' and then again with 'Sigil', a collection of B-sides which act as the perfect prelude to this offering.

Derived from an alchemy of inspiration, the album is the result of endless nights unearthing samples, vinyl oddities, effects databases from a bygone era and the artist’s own post-processed vocals - imprecise components which all combine perfectly to form this LP.

Unconstrained by genre, 'Impreciso' journeys through strains of body music, psychedelic rock, soundtrack and more, delivering electronic experimentations which expose the artist’s darkest tendencies while revealing a long admiration of post-punk, hip hop and science fiction’s finest.  

Twelve tracks falling somewhere between homage and reinvention, 'Impreciso' operates with 80’s circuitry, throws back to 90’s beat nostalgia and drills into a cyber-verse for a familiar yet unexpected trip perfect for this moment.

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Happy707 is the DJ/producer duo of May Mc Laren and Tomas Palmariello, who formed in 2019, playing underground parties all over the Argentinian capital. As well as DJing, the pair also play a live set with samplers, synths, vocals and FX. With a raw sound influenced by the darker edges of EBM, Acid, Electro, and Techno, Happy707's output has taken them far and wide with releases on Clan Destine Records, New York Haunted, Oraculo Records, Pildoras Tapes, Discos Pato Carlos and Revolte (CH). Colombian artist Filmmaker is a prolific artist who's constantly pushing boundaries and has released on Opal Tapes, Detriti, HC Records and Squall Recordings. His remix of 'FM o.O' is peppered with syncopated rhythms, fierce oscillations and undulating intensity.

Morah - ZESTA  • Snippets •  K01

In the centre of the massive return of the electronic music scene to proper events, after almost two years of forced shutdown, the new work by David Meiser on the Valencian label HC Records sees the light.

“Who Wants The Night reflects the held back rage of an audience that has been forced to dance in his living room for too long. It is a hymn to make the night ours again”.

The sound of the EP has clear influences from EBM bands, such as Nitzer EBB or Front 242, but it also adds elements of the new punk movement that we had previously seen in bands like The Prodigy. All under the characteristic Meiser sound based on interlaced arpeggios, sharp cymbals and a careful editing of the voices that the artist sings himself. The EP has an original track and 3 remixes by HC Records producers (Siarem, Filmmaker, Abiz Sonko) who make a good balance by taking the original track, more oriented to the club dancefloor, to other more purist and experimental sound dynamics, respectively.

The video clip, which was recorded in the old Aliaga thermal power plant, reflects on the influences of industrial music and EBM both on the album and throughout Meiser's career. It has been directed by Carlos Amorés (APV Films) and has the support of Marga VM.

“I had already worked with Amorés on other occasions. We understand each other very well when it comes to moving even the smallest detail from the sound to the black and white image. He is my right hand. Marga has brought the rave aesthetic that we wanted to convey. The message was clear: ‘dance as if no one was looking at you, the night is yours again’”.

After the stoppage we have suffered due to the current problem in the supply of physical discs, we have decided to release this compilation in digital format to overcome the material obstacles that hinder the release of music.
After three years of starting our journey as a label, we take stock of what we have learned and where we want to be. Under The Stone is the result of a conscious awareness of the spectacularized and speculative electronic music that prevails today.A conscious and proud stance regarding the consumerist concepts of macro festivals and selfies that distort the idea of collective culture. The title refers to the double movement involved in lifting a stone. On the one hand, discovering the extraordinary ecosystem that is hidden underneath, and on the other, the act of throwing away the stone that was keeping it crushed.
This album brings together a few artists, some to be discovered and others more established, but who share a common denominator, powerful sound and a challenge to established consumption clichés. We want to thank all the artists who are part of the compilation for giving shape and meaning to the idea that orbits this release.

SOJ always works within an industrial sound context, but his works can be based only on small details that finally lead us back to this countercultural environment, elements of this genre, which later feed on other external nuances.

Infidel Bodies is the record label that publishes this new reference from the head of Soil Records. Its 10 original tracks combine different rhythmic structures with harmonic textures, each of them has a different charisma than the rest, with influences from styles such as dark ambient, techno or experimental electronics, and with quite different composition patterns. To the 10 original tracks must be added 4 versions of WLDV, Unconscious, IV Horsemen and Filmmaker."

Grey Area agency are celebrating five years with the release of their first ever compilation, calling on the skills of their talented roster including Autumns, Pablo Bozzi, Filmmaker and Operant. Released digitally and on a limited run of cassettes, the 9-tracks were created during the madness of 2020 and sonically represents the sounds of Grey Area, manouevering through icy electronics from post-punk, EBM, electro and Italo body music to industrial techno, power electronics, noise and rave.
