Tantum started his passion for music from a young age. Initially crafting music as a guitarist, he gained lots of instrumental experience before moving on to electronic music. Having honed his skills for nearly half a decade, his passion for electronic music stems from his love of soulful melodies through analog synths and driving grooves inspired by modern progressive house and techno.

After his 2020 debut on Guy J’s label Lost & Found, 2021 has proven to be even more fruitful with his second EP on Lost & Found, his debut collab single on Lane 8’s “This never Happened” label, and 4-track EP on Radikon. Not to forget many other records which have received great support among the scene. Despite the uncertain situation surrounding us these days, Tantum will be sure to continue the upward trajectory with lots of music yet to come.

His music, which has been released on labels like Lost & Found, Monaberry, Poker Flat Recordings, Einmusika (EIN2), Juicebox Music, Radikon, and Mango Alley continues to see steady support by the likes of Guy J, Lane 8, ZHU, Jonas Saalbach, Eelke Kleijn, Tim Engelhardt, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Ziger, Kasper Koman and many more.

Whether you catch him playing a live show or a DJ set, you will soon recognize that his distinct style between techno and house music will be an everlasting experience, filled with driving beats and euphoric moments.

Artist Info:
Luca Bacchetti, originally from Italy, is now one of the world’s most sought-after DJs and producers. His professional career kicks off in 1992 as radio speaker on various Italian stations and for 12 years he curates the production of radio programs focussing on club culture, whilst also DJ-ing in the local clubs and venues. At first, he gravitates towards Hip Hop and Black Music generally, but soon falls in love with emerging sounds such as Drum’n’Bass (jungle) and all the mid-nineties urban styles. The terms ‘eclectic’ and ‘multifaceted’ are often used inappropriately but, given the variety and breadth of his musical background and development, in Luca’s case there is no better descriptions. In 2002 he starts to frequent recording studios and produces his first work in 2004, furthering in the meantime his involvement with House and Techno. As a producer he begins to develop a creative vein for what is to become Minimal Techno. It takes only a few releases to put Luca on the map, EPs on Tenax, Wagon Repair and, in 2006, he embarks on a career as international club and festival DJ. Subsequently he will produce works for Ovum, Crosstown Rebels, All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, together with fortunate remixes for many other labels including Peter Gabriel’s Real World X.

Kreislauf kollabiert 
Um mich herum ist es schwarz. Schwarz wie die Nacht. Abgesehen von einigen kleinen weißen Funken, welche zeitweise die Dunkelheit durchbrechen. Ich höre nichts... naja fast nichts. Gelegentlich dringen Geräusche zu mir durch. Verschwommen und unklar, als würde ich am Grund eines Schwimmbeckens tauchen. Wellenartig werden diese Töne lauter, dann ziehen sie wieder vorbei. Sie kommen und gehen begleitet von einem hohen und unangenehmen Summen. Langsam aber sicher dämmert mir, was gerade vor sich geht. Der Nebelschleier in meinem Kopf beginnt sich zu Lichten und damit kommt der Schmerz einher. Er ist tief und stechend. Von meinem Scheitel abwärts zieht sich dieses Gefühl bis in meine Lendengegend. Es pocht. Ich versuche krampfhaft die Quelle der Pein ausfindig zu machen und lokalisiere sie in meinem Hinterkopf. Etwas warmes und leicht klebriges befindet sich ebenfalls dieser Stelle. Ein leicht metallischer Geruch steigt mir in die Nase und ich komme vollends wieder zu Bewusstsein. Ich versuche meine Augen und Arme zu bewegen und scheitere. Hingegen entweicht meinen Lippen ein leichtes Stöhnen. Gewillt mir einen Überblick über die Lage zu verschaffen, reiße ich in einer enormen Kraftanstrengung meine Augen auf. Mit glasigem Blick blinzle ich ein wenig und gebe mir alle Mühe die Schemen um mich herum zu identifizieren. Drei Gestalten schauen mit ernster Mine zu mir herunter. Mit brüchiger Stimme frage ich: „Wie lange war ich weg? Ein paar Minuten waren es schon“. Ich erkenne an der Stimme m, dass es sich um Mike handelt. „Auf einmal bist du einfach zusammengebrochen und mit dem Kopf auf den Boden geschlagen, wir haben uns ernsthafte Sorgen gemacht, waren kurz davor einen Krankenwagen zu rufen“. 
Kreislauf kollabiert oder doch was schlimmeres passiert?
DJ Kreislauf hat für diesen VizeFreitag einen nachdenklichen KataHaifisch Podcast gemixt. Der Vibe ist melancholisch-verträumt, die schwermütigen Melodien tanzen gemeinsam mit den Drums und das Kick-Bass Fundament ebnet eine rhythmisches Fundament. Dieses Set ist wie gemacht für einen warmen Sommerabend, ehrliche Gespräche mit guten Freunden und ein Glas Rotwein. Da sag ich doch nicht nein. Dankeschön ❤
