Niki Sadeki is a Vancouver-based DJ, musician and the host of the monthly podcast series 'Allure' on Frisky Radio. Due in no small part to her popular online mixes, Niki has steadily gained recognition within the dance music community.

From raiding her parents’ record collection when she was just a child, to becoming resident at Vancouver’s MIA, Niki has continuously been living with music in the forefront. Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming DJ.

With a focus on deep, melodic and ethereal dance music, Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks, and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes. Her sets have been described as musical journeys, charming listeners and at the same time inviting them to dive into their own individual world of sensations.

Inspired by amazing travels, and having met many beautiful human beings, as well as attending festivals and experiencing Burning Man several times, we felt like doing something similar for the community in Switzerland.

Artist Info:
Madota is the musical lovechild of urban shepherds Behnam & Mehran. Iranian by birth, Canadian by upbringing, these two have come a long way from their own journeys before reuniting in Berlin.

What we know is that their deeply rooted love for electronic music led them to storm Vancouver's nightlife as DJs since 2011 which in turn prepared them to start their experimentation with making music that pulls influences from their hyphenated backgrounds. Their music captures their subtle lust for colorful and organic sounds coupled with their itch for darker forward-leaning grooves.

Their music has already taken them to perform numerous times in legendary gatherings such as Katerblau in Berlin, ZERO in NYC, Acidcase in Berlin and Woomoon in Ibiza. They continue to nurture their lovechild in Berlin with releases on labels such as Get Physical, Kindisch and Kiosk I.D.

Madota @ Melodic Therapy #094 - Germany

Dear friends, It's been a while since I've shared new music and recordings. Nonetheless, I have been spending extensive love on curating my music collection and fortunate enough to share glimpses of it in intimate gatherings during this pandemic. This recording was captured after closing for my friend Satori in one of the most breathtaking cenotes I have played at in beautiful Mexico. Its caretakers have treated this sacred land with the utmost respect and live in complete synchronicity with its surroundings, the local communities, and the ethos they live by. I've fallen in love with this location and its family. 

It took me a little bit to get in the groove, but I found it. 
Enjoy this one as much as I did and I hope we can do more of this together very soon in our new post-pandemic reality. Would love to hear what you feel.. I have a lot more to share.
