We kickstart our 2021 release schedule with Barcelona-based duo, Hotel Rubio.  For their debut on the label, they deliver a strong ep, with sharp influences both from Barcelona, and their city of origin, London – a serious and dancefloor-friendly melodic ensemble.

The title track, Smoke Signals, combines classic progressive melodies with modern drums and an asymmetric arrangement, resulting in a powerful underground cut.

The A21 remix’ arrangement is more traditional and old school proggy. Its catchy melody, spacious build up and warm familiarity makes it a versatile track and valuable weapon in DJs’ repertoires, across house and techno genres.

Last but not least, Rain Dance is a superbly well written piece. Its rich combination of components, led by a sharp synth and an equally moving bassline, is simply breath-taking.

Swedish singer, producer and instrumentalist Sailor & I, is renowned for his outstanding live act having performed worldwide at key clubs and festivals. This multi-faceted artist has worked and performed alongside some of the industry’s finest names including Paul Woolford, DJ Tennis and M83 and has released an album and singles on Skint, Life and Death and Black Butter. His debut album The Invention of Loneliness was a landmark release in 2017 and since then he has continued to evolve his indie-electronica songwriting skills as well as diver ever further into the world of leftfield sounds.

Get Physical Music revisit the Trans Orient Express album this February as they invite Kiwi to remix alongside DJ T. himself.

An outer-space vibe is struck right from the off on DJ T. 's reinterpretation of ‘Bedouin Ride’, as ‘80s synth sounds combine with emotive chords and deep bassline sequences that rumble down low. Kiwi’s dynamic version of ‘Bazar Break Battle’ offers a slick balance of sweeping leads, the original’s captivating vocals and sharp snares to produce a hazy and haunting production.

DJ T. aka Thomas Koch is a stalwart of the electronic music scene, launching Groove Magazine in 1989 and co-founding Get Physical, he has served up four studio albums and a string of releases via Defected, Moon Harbour and Play It Say It. His highly anticipated latest album ‘Trans Orient Express’ gained broad critical acclaim upon its release last year.

Maxxi Soundsystem & Christophe collaborate on the first Me Me Me release of 2021 which comes backed with a remix from the label boss Man Power himself. This latest chapter entitled ‘Batbox’ sees London-born DJ-producer Maxxi Soundsystem who is known for releases on Moda Black, Culprit and Ellum Audio, join forces with Bristol-based DJ, producer and Futureboogie artist Christophe, who makes his return to Me Me Me for the first time since his ‘Rok The Hall/Like That’ EP back in 2019. ‘Batbox’ gets things rolling with spiraling synths floating above the sparkling melodies and ethereal fx  laced with cosmic energy before ‘Airheads’ keeps the engaging vibrations flowing with warm low frequencies, shimmering drums and rubbery pulsations.
