After their first Diynamic release in 2021, French-Moroccan duo WAHM return to the label with a new 3-tracker titled „Rave Love“.
The opening/title track starts out with warm percussive elements, a crunchy bass and a cool vocal line. In signature WAHM style they spice things up with jazzy piano chords and keep the energy high with alternating between calm suspense and wild excitement.
„Una Canción" hits us with a more acid-y vibe, while a Spanish narrator serenely guides our journey.
And closing off the record is „Rogue Embrace“, a vibrant Indie Dance tune with that takes us through the highs and lows of love and longing.

Astral Records opens the fall season by welcoming Bolth to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Brazil, Bolth is a DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who has carved out his own unique place in the electronic music underground. With a clever co-ax of classic elements from the 70s and 80s with the melodic heart of house Music, Bolth creates a sonic intersection with technos foundational roots. A signature sound marked by crisp grooves, exacting sound design, and the symbiotic fusion of analog synths with digital undertones. First emerging in 2021 on the strength of his early tracks, Bolth would go on to compile an impressive resume across the next three calendar years, notching standout projects for ERRORR, New Tab Music, Panda Lab and Purified. Now, as 2024 reaches its final quarter, Bolth follows an excellent offering for SPECIES with his Astral Records debut Beyond Control. Beginning with the title selection, Bolth showcases a peak time approach which sets the tone for the EP. Full of colourful textures and cutting edge design qualities, the Brazilian smoothly blends punchy kick drums and tough undulating grooves, with fragmented synth mutations and roboticized vocals for an exhilarating journey into the break. Further revealing his creative attitude across the interlude, its a stereo field of hyperbolic effects and anticipatory tones which marry beautifully for a healthy dose of melodic tension, before a wave of drums cues a bass-driven drop and effects-laden finale. Rounding out the release are the mesmerizing sounds of Disruption. Tight, compact and bursting with mysterious energies, the tracks first movement is built around machine-gun grooves, spacey effects and hook-heavy arps, the latter of which carries a hip-swinging energy into the break. The narrative continues to progress across interlude, with trance-inducing bass tones and metallic motifs eventually revealing a flurry of pyrotechnic synths, one which pushes onwards to a finale that is equal parts groove-centric and cosmic.

Championing the sounds of house music for years, hes known to have a golden touch when it comes to dance floor destroyers and his last release on 100%% Pure is testament to this. Fact was recorded as the 7th most charted track by DJs on Beatport in 2011 and was recently nominated for the Tech House Track of the Year. In fact Stefano received a second nomination in the same category making him the only artist who has ever accomplished that. Not surprising considering that in 2010 he soared to the #1 in the US Billboard Dance Chart and in 2011 he was nominated for Beatports Artist Of The Year Music Awards.

Quite an achievement to date, but were hoping his new EP will Beat It.

BEAT IT: Massive groove packed with swollen plump chords and sexy sighs hammered together with percussion like a machine gun, firing off the beats in quick succession. Repeat after me this is good!

Q FACTOR: For some the Q factor is the measure of the quality of an electric circuit. For us its a quality BIG room smasher that can be measured by the amount of people thrashing around on the club floor.
