An iconic name within the music industry and a career spent as a rock guitarist and electro pop producer, Cary Crank's move into the world of Melodic Techno in 2018 witnessed a rapid rise to prominence. Since his 2019 debut for Trippy Code, over a century of credits has thus seen music signed to Parquet, Beatfreak Recordings, Steyoyoke Black, and his own imprint Sunexplosion. Rafa Silva, a Chilean-German artist with a wide range of talents at his disposal, Silva's creative and compositional skills in classical music, sound design, and drumming has led to a clutch of releases that have featured on Ritter Butzke Records, ZEHN Records, and Hannes Bieger's Balance compilation. Now adding Perspectives Digital to his portfolio, Rafa Silva's remix blends a whip-cracking kick, offbeat hats, and a bouncing bass groove to create a smooth and hypnotic backdrop. 'After releasing FLEISHER’s Vortex EP, Soulfooled is happy to start the new year with Matthias Winnfield’s second EP on Soulfooled. With the 'Rate Your Bad Trip' EP, the Turkish producer is continuing his outstanding work of peak- time bombs.

The EP kicks off with an afro-influenced track 'Rate Your Bad Trip'. A percussion- and drums-loaded tune underlined with trippy vocals.

The second track is 'Sphinx', a piece of high tension with slowly evolving predator bass sounds that also increases traffic as minutes passes by.

The EP is closed with the 'Those Were The Days' track. Mathias describes this track “as the emotional one, supported with a bouncing bass line and some surprise drops at the end”.

“Kondras” is a track that was inspired by the tales of the evil alien race that it goes by the same name. They are known to drink blood of humans and are supposedly behind many of the abduction stories. 

With a dark hunting never ending riff melody, complex percussions and Morttagua’s famous 4d pluck sound design; “Kondras” will bring suspense and hypnosis to any underground dance floor.
