This tune is about gender-neutral body positivity. No body-shaming here. On the dancefloor, we are all equal. Naturally enough, the main mix is a proper booty shaker. With its sturdy rhythm, strong enough to races horses with, it drives like the best of Chicago’s hard-trax, with DJ Deeon as the willing MC atop this gleaming stallion. On the Instrumental Dub, we give DJ Deeon a well-earned rest and let the keyboards and drums do the heavy-lifting, and while the keyboards are low in the mix they offer just the right amount of threat to make the track drive (and possibly, even, jump).

It’s becoming a new trend for me to drop a new DMJ session halfway through the month, but it’s because I strive to carefully select and curate a session to be on repeat for a while. This month’s session will not disappoint you at all as it offers a highly pleasant auditory experience featuring several gems of Organic and Progressive House that will take you on a magical voyage. This session features gems from the following artists: Anton Ishutin, Ranta, PROFF, JP Posada, Emi CA, Arina Mur, Jiminy Hop, Ilias Katelanos, Molac, Plecta, Nareg, Phonic Youth, Wassu, Lucas Zarate, Forty Cats, TEELCO, and Maze 28.

As we go through the warm-up phase with the first 3 tracks, we start setting the stage with Russia’s marvelous talent, Arina Mur’s banger ‘Morozko,’ released under Hoomidas label. Next up, we transition for a little while into the Progressive realm with the freshly released killer ‘Nawaro’ by none other than the amazing Jimmy Hop, whom I personally admire a lot and have as one of my true norths for the development of my own sound as I start delving into music production myself. Konstantin is truly a big inspiration for me as I find highly exotic and innovative the way he produces bangers blending up perfectly influences between Organic and Progressive House that just result in banger after banger. Congrats Jiminy! Keep up the great work, mate!

Alright, alright! So now, we’ve reached a high state of consciousness up to this point, and the ride is only going to get groovier and deeper as we transition into a couple of massive gems by Ilias Katelanos, Plecta, and the one and only magician Molac, hailing all the way from Ecuador, whom I consider a friend of mine even though we’ve only maintained virtual contact on social media. His outstanding collaboration track 'Madagana' is a banger as well as his solo track ‘The Golden Dawn,’ released under the prestigious Melody Of the Soul, will just blow your mind as it did to me and will also throw you into the universe of melodies and groove to keep on dancing whenever you are. Then, we’ll transition into a heavily melodic and melancholic masterpiece by Nareg titled ‘Cosmic Rhapsody,’ which rightfully honors its name and a track to have in anyone’s favorite tracks of all time. It is literally a Cosmic Rhapsody!

Next, as we get closer to the peak of this musical trip, we’ll meet to continue dancing for a little while with ‘Clarity’ by Wassu and the vibrant vocals by Phonic Youth, released under the Colorize label.

Then, we will reach the peak of the journey with 3 amazing gems by Lucas Zarate, Forty Cats in a remix by Kyotto to the debut track of Nocturne in the newly created label PURRFECTION by Forty Cats, and we will finalize this trip with an amazing collaboration between TEELCO and Maze 28 who keep on releasing music like there is no tomorrow. Hats off Mario!!

It’s been approximately one year since our first retro futuristic compilation was released, and as we’ve moved further into the future, it appears we’ve come closer to the 90s, if not even ventured a tiny bit into the 00s. We might even be in the present, if not even the future. Somehow, with one foot still in the 80s.
As our universes collide, it’s hard to tell what is what. Whether you think this is a futuristic take on Eurodance with an 80s twist, Italo Body or Trance, that is totally up to you.
