Joep Mencke is a producer based in the Netherlands. Through his Dj-sets, breath-work, and, recently, his new live-set, he uses his music to facilitate an inward journey. Through musical storytelling he aims to provide a vehicle for exploration and transformation. His music, which is heavily inspired by nature and the immensely diverse cultures on this planet, can be characterized as: compelling, deep, and melodious. Melancholic chord progressions, hypnotizing bass-lines, and driving drums will accompany you on your journey.

Courtney Scott is a Brooklyn-based artist who is driven by music's power to build community, to heal, and to transmit love in its purest form.  Her performances are visceral; taking you on a deeply personal journey into diverse sounds that are not without risks or surprises, but woven with soulful melodies and addictive basslines that move you to the highest frequency.  Her sound is heavily influenced by the rhythms she has discovered in the last 12 years as a nomad and by her New York City roots.  Her sets are infused with afro, acid, nu-disco and indigenous subtleties that delicately blend to create her signature sound.

Alright, Gab Rhome, you convinced us! Our livers (and waistlines) could use a cleansing break after all those delicious cocktails. Let’s cut out booze for a while and enjoy a rejuvenating and energizing glass of the earth’s most delicious, most healthy foods: milk!  

Gab Rhome, born in Montréal and living in NYC, milked his favorite cow (what’s her name by the way?) on his farm to ensure today’s Schirmchendrink is full of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. 

Grab a cookie and dip it into Gab’s dreamy and hypnotic vibes. 

He began his musical journey at an early age playing multiple instruments while being shaped by jazz music, and it only took a few years before making a transition towards the rhythms of dance music. 

Only within few years of producing Gab gained worldwide attention with releases on label heavy weights such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Kindisch, Get Physical and Last night on Earth.  

His delicate melodic tech-house productions have brought him on journeys across the globe, for example to the @radiovenao Gathering in Panama, where this set was recorded. As you are about to experience, a similar voyage is built during his dj sets.

For our first fall cocktail we’re extremely happy to welcome Cairo-based artist Fulltone to our family. He’s been on the rise (and on the Schirmchendrink radar) in the past couple of years. He has become a regular on labels such as Seven Villas or Dream Culture.  

Our most recent favorite productions are Outskirts, an original release on Wildfang Music, as well as the sensational remix of Cecilia on PHCK’s Natu EP on Nie Wieder Schlafen (as heard first on Schirmchendrink, of course!).  

Fulltone definitely has build a vast discography. With his astonishing effort, he has delighted the scene over night and continues to do that, with this blissful Back in Fashion, exclusively here on Schirmchendrink.

Sarkis Mikael is a global ambassador for deep house music based in Los Angeles, and has taken crowds from Miami to Dubai on journeys of physical abandon and inner discovery via his thumping, therapeutic, globaly-influenced rhythms and melodies.

As founder of Deep House LA and co-founder of the Beatport top-five label NCTRNL, Sarkis has worked to establish a foundational community for deep house through his conviction that the right beats and the right state of mind can heal and transform us.

Sarkis’ releases on Underyourskin, Sol Selectas, Dream Culture, TRNDMSK, and other labels of note touch dance music’s subterranean reaches, drawing out the listener’s emotional core through organic instrumentation and synthetic exploration– and his live sets demonstrate deep house’s potential to create community through the movement of sweating bodies and the connection between open minds.
