Great electronic music DJ for so many years, Alex Mendes is now becoming an important techno producer. His first EP "𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 1992" released on We Fine records. Then, Alex Mendes composed the beautiful "𝘚𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘓𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘔𝘦" for COD3 QR, the new label of Laurent Garnier and Scan X. This track quickly became a classic for a lot of top DJ’s…
In 2024, Alex Mendes founded his own structure : Yucatec Music (https://soundcloud.com/yucatecmusic) a label that «embracing diversity». On this one, he released the "𝘓𝘶𝘯𝘢𝘳 𝘗𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘌𝘗" including the track "𝘏𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘛𝘰 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘰𝘯", another classic for a lot of electronic music fans… Alex Mendes is now producing the first Various Artists compilation of this new label, including the finest artists of the french underground techno scene as Squal G, Loloman or DCLVIII OFC…

Le Chu, Venezuelan DJ and producer, is the mind behind We Are Play Music Project (podcast and premiere's channel) and WAPM Records label.

Le Chu is characterized by playing house, minimal, and electro with techno influences. She has released her music on several labels in different parts of the world such as Brazil, Bulgaria, Romania, Ecuador, Mexico, among others, which has given a boost to her career and has also helped with internationalization and growth in her path within the worldwide electronic scene.

IMP096 Pocas veces se puede sacar más de 2 ó 3 tracks de un recopilatorio para mi lista mensual, porque por muchas canciones que pongan se suelen salvar más bien pocas, no es el caso de “Signature Sounds” un recopilatorio de musiquita guay de Jannowitz Records el cual contiene 24 tracks muy recomendables desde mi punto de vista, para la lista de Octubre he elegido 5 de ellos y otros 5 que tambien son verdaderos pelotazos.

Cologne based label Feines Tier kicks off 2021 with a collaborative five tracker from Dominik Marz and Yannick Labbé namely referring to Frank Herbert's Dune (cycle), which will as well as the EP be released this year. However, Labbé and Marz's approach shows that the duo has no spanner in the works but soaks its audience right into the action and making it hard to get out of this quicksand. Glitchy out of space chords over a lush yet raw and creaky bass line inspire any legwork on bending dance planks. Labbé irresistible drive of creating rolling vintage-sounding bass lines and Marz's instinct of writing synth-lines makes Dune the floating sandy take one wants to hear when things get mad in the live-streams and dance floors.
