European producer with Ukrainian roots, Nikolina (LDN) joins Bar 25 Music with the debut EP recorded for the label. Track ¨Moonlight¨ was created together with Andréa Ararê — shamanic practitioner and healer born and raised in Brazil. A truly genuine tandem for a powerful organic house work. As the artist says, “the moontime is considered a time of power, second only to the ability of the Great Spirit to give life. I was inspired by upcoming changes in my life. The changes that come with each passing moon indicate the times for planting, harvesting and gathering”.

The original track comes with a remix by Watergate club resident, Berlin based rising star — Yulia Niko. A groovy melodic house rework with the strong ready-to-hit-the-dance-floor energy.

Breaking into the scene in 2018, Armenian artist Socko (@sockolive) has made great strides as a DJ playing for the majority of clubs and events in Armenia, becoming very popular in his motherland. Opening his production account in 2019 on Pipe and Pochet, Socko is now signed to several influential labels including Behrouz’ Do Not Sit, Shango and down.

Opening with two tracks featuring Romanian artist IV-IN, ‘Queen Is An Eagle’ a low- slung, nu-disco vibe saunters with bluesy vocals. Rubber band guitar licks and sleazy keys provide musical asides as the track gathers momentum midway before an oasis of a break and chunky conclusion.

Next up ‘Ghost is Not Human’ continues apace with nuanced guitars forming the low end, and moody keys punctuating the sombre male vocals. Organ lines midway add energy and interest. Finally, with the vocal talents of D’Litte, the EP draws to a close with ‘Red Wet Dress’. Ticking clock percussion and sweet vocals juxtapose in the most delightful way as a disturbing mutated siren signals the introduction of bass and tension. A thoroughly classy and creatively complex debut for an artist on the cusp of worldwide notoriety.

'French superstar in the making, Obbie joins the label with ‘Golden Linings’ beautifully remixed by Omer Tayar and Omer Bar.

Parisian producer and DJ, Obbie is purveyor of rich harmonies and crisp and warm sounds that transport souls. His live sets are filled with moments of high drama where blankets of melancholia are draped around your shoulders in warm embraces, and his productions are no less eventful.

‘Golden Linings’ opens with groove. Ethereal voices float above the sparse percussion and a warm, homely feeling invites you to stay a while. Sombre piano evokes deep thought as the groove intensifies midway and angelic vocals drift in and out. On remix duties, Omer Tayar and Omer Bar toughen the groove with subtle tribalism and airy pads. Pushing the vocal to the front adds a new dimension.'

"Normally I know that high expectations kill the vibe, so I always try to walk my way open minded and don’t expect anything special from the future, but this time I couldn’t help it. When the Robot told me that she wanted me to play the sunrise set and that we will be connected with the Mayan Warrior soundsystem, I could feel it already in Berlin a full three weeks before… Then when I finally took the bus over to Robot Heart it was even better than in my craziest expectations. This gig was by far the most emotional gig I have ever played. All I can say is thank you, I am even more happy now to be born on this weird planet which can be really beautiful sometimes, when you give it  chance to be free. The human body is the most highly engineered object in existence, a machine of uncountable parts and unfathomable function. Its workings have served as inspiration for all of humanity's greatest inventions. This work is an homage to the two most amazing mechanisms in that machine: the human eye and hand. The head is a 16 foot camera obscura demonstrating the ray optics principals underlying the spherical lensed eye humans posses and the hands are actuated mimicking the tendons and bones of the body. Together they represent what separates life from the rest of the universe, the ability to observe the world around us and manifest change in that world.

London based Stavros Potamitis aka Stevie R, steps up to the Tenampa podium and delivers the magnificent ‘Inicio de la Magia’ EP. The EP displays Stevie R's signature radiant style and top notch production that is full of rich melodies and genuine emotions.

'Inicio de la Magia’ is a deep groover with an infectious vocal by the Turkish singer Djanan Turan. A subtle melody adds depth to the track, while an emotional “Tzouras” guitar gives us a hint of funk! Timeless music to immerse yourself on the club dancefloors or in the comfort of your own home.

Monkey Safari are a long time dancefloor favorite, with releases on the globally renowned labels such as Anjunadeep,Get Physical, Bedrock, Suara and their own imprint: Hommage. The German duo gives a late night dancefloor workout, combining horn hints and picked strings with a funked out twist that packs a mighty punch.

‘Tres Brujas’ is up next, where Stevie R displays his signature musical blend of organic melodic sounds, detailed sound design and trippy percussion. A powerful disco bassline adds both groove and depth and needs to be heard to be believed. Analogue synth master Taoma adds his trademark modular lines taking the track to breathtaking heights.
