Fan de sa série de mix 90’s US/UK House « stacey's tracks », découverte un peu par hasard dans les méandres de Sound/Mix-cloud, j’avais proposé à François, à l’époque Radio Campus, d’enregistrer un mix pour l’émission. C’est finalement sur Comala que ça se concrétise.

Comme certains de ses pairs DJs, François vient d’un background Hiphop, découvre dans la continuité le disco et le funk pour ensuite verser, il y a quelques années, du côté de la House, dont il accumule depuis les disques. Son mix est à prendre comme une « carte de visite » de ses divers univers : de la US Garage House, UK, Deep House Italienne, des dubs, des « vocal mix », de l’obscure, des classiques…

Tommy Garofalo aka Turbojazz, Italian dj and producer with great versatility, started DJing and producing music during the 00s heavily inspiried by Hip Hop. Something that would bring him to explore the whole black music culture, from dance floor jazz to rare funk and disco, passing through all things soulful and deep. Take all of the above stir it in a musical pot and you get “Unbreakable EP”, the debut 12” on Local Talk from Turbojazz that features “Please U” feat. David Blank. with the remix of EVM128, and the acclaimed "Unicorn Rising” which received the like of Laurent Garnier, Volcov, DJ Deep, Luke Solomon, Lefto, Ashley Beedle, Shur-i-Kan and Lorca just to name a few.

Straight away “Please U” has been also selected by Crookers for his “Defected in Croatia” compilation and this made Tommy ready for his next releases on labels like: BBE, GAMM, CT-HI and of course LOCAL TALK.
