Inámo debuts on Essential Part with Destiny, a track that speaks in fragments, as if tracing the memory of a forbidden dream.

Built around a steady pulse and a magnetic bass line, it unfolds slowly, drawing light through shadow. Growing steadily, as if it were the first time that the ascent becomes aware of its own gravity. The production balances analog grit with subtle melodic air, staying minimal yet evocative.

At its core, the voice of Lexie carries Inámo’s words in French, a declaration of fate and love that gently bends time with each phrase, turning meaning into texture. The atmosphere feels intimate and cinematic, like a message found in orbit.

The remix comes from Musumeci, who redirects the energy toward the floor. His interpretation keeps the voice but strips the melodies away, building a tighter frame around crisp percussion and playful rhythm. The outcome feels raw, spontaneous, and human.

Destiny presents two visions of the same impulse. Both speak the same language.

Hello and welcome once again to the Depth Perception Sessions. This week we welcome Berlin based artist and DJ Ornery, with a powerful session to blow out the winter chills. 

Bio:

Producer, DJ, Label Owner and Sound Engineer, half of live techno duo SPHR;
Ornery is a multi-talented artist based in the vibrant city of Berlin.
Influenced by a broad range of genres and styles, his inspiration draws from the entire spectrum of electronic music; with a penchant for the dark, emotional and intense, all of which contribute to his unique artistic voice.
After his chart-topping debut solo EP as an artist, “Evolution”, his production output hasn’t seen any signs of slowing down, with a string of originals and remixes on labels such as (in alphabetical order) Aesthetika, Dear Deer, Dynamica, Flemcy, Inner Shah, Kitchen, Pursuit, Reconsider, Rezongar, Stellar Fountain, Sync Forward, Us & Them, Vesta.
In the last few years, his well-celebrated sets have graced the decks of some of the most iconic Berlin clubs; other than appearing at numerous showcases in London, Ibiza, Miami, Hamburg and Barcelona. His ability to create a captivating atmosphere on the dance floor has earned him a devoted following among electronic music enthusiasts.
Relentlessly in search of expanding and exploring his artistic vision in full, his musical endeavours also include his “Audere” imprint, home to his own productions and the well-established “Audere Radio” monthly mixshow; and his newly-founded “Daydreaming” label, a platform for new music from established artists, frequent collaborators and newcomers in the melodic space.

Weekend Heroes begin 2019 with their debut single on Tash's Movement Recordings. Hailing from Tel Aviv, the Israeli duo are one of their country's most highly regarded crossover acts. Their unique blend of progressive grooves and psychedelic design has landed them releases on Beat Boutique, Flow Vinyl and Iboga Records. Now following a quiet 2018, Weekend Heroes land on Movement Recordings with ‘Maasai' alongside remixes from Mononoid and Starkato.

The amalgamation of afro and progressive house has continued to be an inspired trend and Weekend Heroes explore that cross pollination on ‘Maasai'. It's warm, chugging low end, cross cultural vocal elements and organic drums sit in a perfect sonic marriage. Dark stabs and ominous atmospheric waves advance the storyboard, filling in the framework for a charged first act. Melting down into the break, a hook heavy theme adds electric moments before getting washed away in a rush of beats and drums for a stellar finale.
