The track is the first single from CONNIE KIS ANDERSEN’S forthcoming acoustic album; Naked Under the Radar, and is a brilliant re-work of a previously released track  that originally flew under the radar and one that typifies the theme of the new album.

Dedication:
I named this project Naked because of the acoustic, back to roots nature of the recording and Under the Radar since I felt many of the songs appearing on this album originally slipped under the radar in the early days when I struggled to establish profile.
Releasing an album is a tremendous undertaking that cannot be achieved alone and so I would like to express my sincerest appreciation to all involved in this project – especially my friend and wonderful producer; Doug Wayne Holmquist and all the talented folk listed in the credits.

Since the release of my previous CD, much has happened.  I have indeed faced and hopefully overcome a few of life’s trials. To date I have survived these challenges - thanks to the help and support of a few, very special people. In particular the medical staff at St John of God Hospital and Arthur, my partner in love and life who truly took my hand when the laughter died.  To you all, I dedicate this album with heartfelt gratitude and respect.

Simplistic in its production and delivery but complicated in its aspiration, given today’s turbulent world.  

"After thinking long and hard about what song to release, I thought it timely to put this song out to radio, especially with the turmoil our society currently faces.  I am acutely aware of how this present-day unrest will affect our children and future generations, so I wanted to say something through song”, says Connie Kis.
