Mod.the Mental Fish

I haven't created and complete a new original track in 2 months. I did recreate Shadowed Streets, but that was it. Just a recreation and touch up on an old track. There are three things stopping me:
1: I've got into a bad habit of overcomplicating projects, realising they are too congested and then flat out abandoning entire ideas.
2: I've been lacking inspiration.
3: I've been procrastinating. Pretty badly. :P

Anyway, I decided to just keep things simple with this track for a change. It's a bit of Glitch. A bit of Trap. But I think it mainly leans towards chill out. Or maybe trip-hop. It's pretty relaxing.

I am Ethereal Psyche (known as Connor Hoban IRL). I started composing original music March 2014.
I am a composer, passionate musician and producer who loves music in many forms with it's beautiful diversity, limitless complexity and euphoric flow of emotions. Whether it is simple and bouncy like a rubber ball, or complex and layered like a macchiato, there is something to be appreciated in all forms of music. I adore exploring the vast depths of music and adding my own human touch.
I've been creating original electronic music since March 2014, with my first experiences dabbling in creating electronic music being around February 2014.

My own music has influences from artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Dada Life, INS4NE CHORD彡, deadmau5, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Ernesto, Bastian and Tavetti, to name a few.

My philosophy of music is based around blissful melodies, interesting (and usually uplifting) chord progressions often balancing majors and minors to define a mood, the little bits in the background that fill the space and interesting drum rhythms.

As a generalisation, I usually compose and produce Trance music, though I do explore quite a bit outside of it too. This genre of music is very much underrated in our modern age of music where commercialism has become a woeful storm.
I invite you to listen to some of my Trance music in particular, as you might find you enjoy this genre as well, which is heavily influenced by Classical music.
I would consider Uplifting Trance the dancable, electronic, modern counterpart of Classical music.
