Been working on this the last couple of months, so sorry for no new tracks in the past couple of months, but now here is one you can listen to and enjoy.

Changes

This is an extend version of my new track "Changes". I wanted it to feel spacious and represent the title, where changes can be big or small, and that there is always a chance anyone can become inspired through any type of change.

I wanted to experiment with Hardstyle in this song to continue developing my style, and find my own take on different genres. I produced this song on a different DAW than I am used to, so it was good to learn more about different software and still create songs in my style. Unite

I produced this song for my final college project before university. I wanted to create space and give the listener a chance to interpret the song how they like. To me, the title "Lost In Time" relates to the artwork very well, as the idea of being outside in a forest, or beach or country side, disconnecting from social media makes us lose a sense of time, and enjoy the moment.

For this EP I wanted to bring back the 2010s EDM/Pop crossover genre. I created a deep house mix called "Sunset Waves" with classic house plucks and Arps, a deep bass line and a strong drum beat. I also made a chill remix of the song. The track "Relived" brings back nostalgia of the early 2010s vibe with clear breaks and a powerful chorus. My favourite part of the song is the bridge, as I mixed it really wide and added lots of reverb.

Let Go

Connor Campbell released the single “Let Go” as an experimental EDM/Pop crossover with some house influences. It quickly became his Top played track from in 2022. He continued to find his own style of combining House music with recognisable bass, fizzy synths, and reverberant wave sounds. He wanted to experiment with hardstyle, so Connor was inspired by it and decided to produce a hardstyle influenced song. In the process of finding sounds he liked; it ended up having a bit of 90’s techno/hard dance influences with some of the bass wave synths. Coming up with a melody was the easy part, as he would just sit down at a piano and play, coming up with short simple ideas with octave jumps and broken sequences. 
When playing live in bands, Connor found his unique guitar sound using effects such as chorus, reverb, delay, overdrive and distortion to create a tone that crossed between lead and rhythm guitar using his trusty Les Paul modern through a Marshall amp – this is important to him when creating new sounds for EDM tracks to ensure they sound great and keep developing in throughout the songs to keep the listener entertained. 
Developing Album/song artwork was something he wanted to do, from doing graphic design at school, Connor gained the knowledge to create iconic covers that popped with colours and had a bold look. With Unite, however, he wanted to do something different combining multiple colours and a poster-like look that stood out and made people stop and stare. The idea of multiple bold colours such as pinks, purples, greens, blues, whites – and black for the song name to stand out gives the sense of lots of things coming together to create something unique – like the song relating to hardstyle but having a techno influence also. He used bold and unique fonts to make it stand out and have a meaning for people to infer what they wanted. This is important for the listener to decide what they think the song is about as it has different meanings for different people.
