A hazy track to accompany you on a foggy morning walk

Alpenglow (feat. Krosia)

Inspired by the stories, trauma, anxieties and mass depression of the tragedy that is HURRICANE HARVEY. Splashing down on Texas in mid-august 2017, Harvey caused over 300,000 people in Texas to loose electricity, displacing families, loved ones, pets, children, and the elderly alike.

This song is my 3rd song inspired by a tragedy.

The 1st: "Memories of the Fallen" was inspired by the Boston Marathon Bombings, during a time where i was supposed to be at the finish line, but because of happenstance, I wasn't because of a meeting, causing me to not lose my life. It was written in one take while the manhunt was going on in my city.

The 2nd: was "Their Last Memories" which was dedicated to the victims of the 2017 Manchester Arena Terrorist Bombings. Also written in one day.

This piece, titled "Makeshift Shelter" will be written from August to late fall 2017. And will be my first piece inspired by a tragedy composed in a long form of composing, in segments of months.

This compilation on soundcloud will showcase some ideas/demos leading up to the piece being finished.
