Episode 52 is a banger of a mix fresh off the decks from DJ and producer, VIKTORIA REBEKA. Originally from Slovenia but now based in Berlin, she has made quite a name for herself over the last 10 years, having toured across 20 countries delivering her powerful sets, and recently releasing phenomenal EPs on Affin and London White. The next hour is an excellent extract from her sweltering, 3-hour set played at the <a href="http://beatrausch.com/2013/09/07/time-flies-2-years-of-stattnacht/">2-Year Anniversary</a> of Stattnacht in Berlin two weekends ago. She got right into it on this one, so enjoy!

He later settled on using MZR as his main stage name. Alongside his partner, KETCH, he established the label SYXT, which quickly became known as a vital part of the Berlin techno scene. 
MZR is known for his dynamic and energetic 4 Deck DJ sets, characterized by fast, groovy, and loop-based techno.

Lyza, better known for the DJ duo Lyric, was born and grew up in Hanover. Today she lives in Berlin, where she has not only honed her artistic skills, she has also developed a strong connection to the city's vibrant music scene, which continually inspires and drives her to expand her boundaries and reach new artistic heights even as a solo artist to reach.

Her journey began in the clubs of her hometown of Hanover, where she became enthusiastic about the techno scene early on. From hypnotic melodies to pulsating rhythms, she developed a unique ability to transform her sets into captivating stories that captivate dancers.

With her partner Ericson, she founded the successful DJ duo Lyric in 2019, under which they have already created some captivating productions and achieved successful gigs across Europe.

We're glad to present our 2nd podcast mixed by Berlin's Viktoria who was a resident at the legendary Berlin venue Stadtbad Wedding and  has released on labels such as Random Island, Decoy, LDNwht, Affin, not to mention her own imprint Viktoria Records.

As guest of our regular Connwax party series at IFZ/Leipzig, she left a great impression - just as her podcast does. Viktoria's mix crossing genres starting playfully with ambient and breakbeats moving onwards to slamming techno and industrial tracks touched with atmospheric soundscapes.

One of her favorite residencies to mention was the one at Stattbad Berlin for 5 years - till it had to close its doors in 2015. Continuously building passionate long hour sets, she releases music on labels like Recorded Things, [R]3volution Records, Random Island, LDNwht, Decoy, Viktoria Records... She moved from Berlin in Summer 2023 and is now based in the countryside of Croatia.
