Conor Delaney - Generator (Original Mix)

Introduction

Conor Delaney is a DJ/Producer from Dublin, Ireland. First introduced into the Trance scene in 2002 Conor has never looked back and it is his passion for Trance music that makes him the DJ he is today. Influenced by leading DJ’s at the time Tiesto and Armin van Buuren, Conor has his sights set on following in the footsteps of his idols.

Influence

As a young boy he always had a passion for music with big admiration for the likes of Oasis, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac and Blur to name a few. As he grew older and as dance music evolved over the years, he quickly adapted to a new generation of music, Trance. To this day it is still his preferred genre but he also has a new love for the Techno scene with his inspiration coming from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Blawan and Sunil Sharpe to name a few.

Experience

With almost a decade of experience in the Trance scene he has now gone into the world of music production. Starting of with Cubase 4 he quickly got the feel for production and is now on course for his first release later this year. At the age of 18 Conor made his DJ debut at Radio City (The Good Bits), Dublin and it wasn’t long before the gigs were rolling in. At the age of 20 he started his own club night “Trance Synergy”  and occupied a number of top Dublin clubs such as The Good Bits, The Vaults and The Turks Head.. Along with this he also headlined at some of his own events and also supported top DJ’s like Tom Colontonio, Orla Feeney, Bryan Kearney, John Askew, Signum, Will Atkinson, Menno de Jong, Gary Maguire, Liam Melly, Paul Denton, Aaron Cullen, Maria Healy and John Gibbons to name a few.

Future
With a vast array of experience, time seems to be on Conor’s side.
The future looks very bright now especially with his keen ear for production Conor will only continue to grow and develop as a producer. He is  also currently  planning the creation of his own record label and promotion companies. With such a large fan base to cater for there is a big demand for Trance music in Dublin lately and Conor has seen a great opportunity to expand his current club night and to also give up and coming DJ’s and Producers a chance to shine.
