Hi gang, I have downloaded a room from sketchup warehouse I am going to mess around with. I have attached an image of before I put into Vray and after its in vray. When not in Vray the glass is transparent and when I try to do a render the glass is not transparent?


The light looks very different from SKP to the render. Are you trying to use the SKP sun in vray? Or is that somehow how you got the SKP shadows where you want them, by manipulating the sun in the vray light panel?


It seems that the shadow you see in SKP is very different from what you see in vray - the SKP light and shadow looks like an early morning or late afternoon light, where in vray it is coming from nearly above or perhaps the other side of the room and what you are seeing is really the ambient light creating the reflection.


I also use the vray lightgen tool. Setup my view, run light gen locally (I do all final renders in chaos cloud) go get a cup of coffee and then review them when I get back - then pick the best one for the scene and tweak as needed.


I just started out learning Vray for Sketchup. I am trying to create a texture with a displacement map. No matter what setting I try adjusting, the texture still appears flat. I've played with the multiplier setting, adjusting it from high numbers to low numbers. I have also adjusted the displacement settings under vray options. Nothing seems to work.

I did as you instructed and it has indeed worked properly, with a transparent background. So maybe it is a setting that changed once I begun adding light effects. I did change the Albedo colour to white previously in my object file on VRay, and managed to get a transparent background. I will proceed with important my sketchup file into a new blank file and starting from the beginning, and hopefully achieve transparent background that way.

I am new to using Vray Rendering within Sketchup and am having difficulty getting all of my imported images to render. They all show up fine in the sketchup view, but most turn white in the vray-vision view.

But now checked changing toolbars and everything is fine. Of course it changes the width but saves matched camera parametres. Maybe SU or ChaosGroup team have fixed something.

When I first booted the Pi attached to the display, there was a large white area on the right, and only the left portion of the screen was being used by the Pi (it was only using 640x480 of the 800x480 display). To fix this, you have to set a few display options in the configuration file the Raspberry Pi reads during startup to switch certain hardware settings.





Besides being a 800x480 HDMI display, the Elecrow also has a touchscreen overlay that allows simple one-point resistive touch detection on the screen. Note that at best, resistive touch is not nearly as responsive and intuitive as capacitive touch detection, which you're likely used to on any recent smartphone or tablet screen. I have an 800x480 lcd I am looking to configure for the imx8m to run at 800x480 not 1920x1080 it is defaulting to. I am running u-boot 2019.04 and Linux 4.19.35. I am able to set the resolution to 800x480 if I plug the LCD into my windows laptop.

From looking at similar questions it seems I need to add the resolution to edid_cea_modes either in drm_edid.c or imx-dhp.c then update t28hpc_hdmitc_table.c with a new clock speed as per:
 -MX-Processors/HDMI-DRM-custom-resolution-and-clock-frequency/m-p/1029...

My question is how do you generate the required clock speed for a 800x480&60Hz hdmi LCD? I found this tool: _timings_calculator But not sure which modeline to use if any.

Hello. First of all, I would like to thank you for your kind answers to my questions and your patience. My problem with this one actually continues. I switched to 800x480 resolution because I have integrated external RAM right now. So I don't know if this problem happens at this resolution. When I switch to 480x270 resolution again on a 7" screen, this problem will continue. If I increase the vertical active video lines part to 272->480. I get a temporary solution. So this problem disappears at 480x480 resolution. But it is not the right solution. I will try your answer to my other question and Maybe the answer you gave in the other question can also solve this problem.


Both 5" and 7" displays have 800x480 pixels, and when used on Windows, at least, will autodetect and set the resolution. On Raspberry Pi, you're better off forcing the HDMI resolution by using the following config.txt file (in /boot/config.txt) - you can edit it by popping the SD card into your computer, the config.txt file is in the root directory

Background:

The aim of this 2015 study was to develop a phone-based game and linked online platform with gamification elements to incentivize HIV and sexually transmitted infections (STI) testing, normalize asking partners about serostatus, and increase HIV and STI knowledge among young Mexican MSM. This paper describes its implementation process and feasibility assessment.



Conclusions:
 A game-based intervention, coupled with an online platform that incorporates gamification elements to motivate HIV and STI testing in young Mexican MSM is feasible. Successfully scaling such an intervention to a broader audience would require reducing the complexity of the intervention, working with a local technical partner to develop and implement a more efficient platform, improving the quality of the graphics, and a re-design of the point system.

When Max enters Last Man Standing, he will automatically enter Bullet Time, giving him several seconds in real time to take out an enemy to prevent his death. If Max succeeds in killing the enemy who dealt the felling shot, Max will recover, but all of his Adrenaline and 1 of his painkillers will be taken as consequence.

, when Max reloads in Bullet Time, he will use a stylish reloading trick by spinning around in a circle. This decreases reload time to near-zero, and allows him to dodge incoming fire. When the hourglass is yellow, the camera will follow Payne as he does it. The reloading trick is essential for weapons with a small ammo capacity such as the sawed-off shotgun, or weapons that may otherwise take a long time to reload, such as the pump-action shotgun.


These sequences activates after some checkpoints. For example at the beginning of chapter II, Max breaks through the window with a gang member with an unlimited bullet time to kill them. Some of these Bullet Time sequences are required for getting achievements. For example getting six kills while breaking out of the window in chapter II earns you the achievement Out the Window.


The term "bullet time" was first used with reference to the 1999 film 
The Matrix
,[2] and later in reference to the slow motion effects in the 2001 video game 
Max Payne
.[3][4] In the years since the introduction of the term via the 
Matrix
 films it has become a commonly applied expression in popular culture.





Bullet-time as a concept was frequently developed in cel animation. One of the earliest examples is the shot at the end of the title sequence for the 1966 Japanese anime series 
Speed Racer
: as Speed leaps from the Mach Five, he freezes in mid-jump, and then the "camera" does an arc shot from front to sideways.


Another precursor of the bullet-time technique was "Midnight Mover", a 1985 Accept video.[13] In this video, Academy Award winning special effects director Zbigniew Rybczynski mounted thirteen 16mm film cameras on a specially constructed hexagonal rig that encircled the performers.
