i wrote "i love when it rains in LA" about social distancing before social distancing guidelines were in place. this summer bop refers to those times when your mind and body are running on low battery mode, and all you need is some time off to recharge. i decided to release it now than waiting for later because it serves as a reminder to create joy in solitude and to search for the silver lining when our plans do not turn out as expected. even though summer is approaching, please do your part to help flatten the curve and STAY HOME as if it’s raining outside. rain or shine, i hope this song offers you some joy or comfort in these anxious times.
