These university students are paving the way for the future of space exploration in Mexico with their innovative CubeSat project AzTechSat-1.

We can’t emphasize just how important this is.

Just after her debut on NASA TV, we talked to Rosa Reyna Gonzalez Cancino, a student who’d worked diligently on this CubeSat along with her classmates.

Rocket launch audio recorded during the SpaceX CRS17 mission, which launched and landed a Falcon 9 rocket that carried a re-supply mission to the International Space Station on May 4, 2019.

This audio recorded using a microphone placed 10.9 miles away from SpaceX launchpad 40 at Jetty Park.

In this audio, you can hear the official SpaceX countdown nets as they narrate the launch and landing sequence. You can also hear nearby crowds reacting to this experience.

Several minutes after launch, you can hear the sonic boom created by the re-entry of the booster as it lands, freshly returned from space.

On December 16, 2019, SpaceX launched the JCSAT-18/Kacific1 joint communications satellite to space on a Falcon 9 rocket.

On February 17, 2020, SpaceX launched it's 5th batch of Starlink satellites on a Falcon 9 rocket from pad 41 at Kennedy Space Center/Patrick Air Force Base.

On January 10, 2020, SpaceX tested the abort system on their new Crew Dragon capsule. The test was a complete success and the next launch in the series will carry NASA's Commercial Crew Astronauts, Bob and Doug, to the International Space Station. It will mark the first time since the end of the Shuttle era in 2011 that a human has launched from the U.S.
