Freshmoon Records returns in a big way with Nikes “re-send” EP - a journey into footwork, jungle, juke and a lot more. 

"re-send" (with label alumni Chango) builds up with a trippy, time-stretched chant, diving into a punk meets rap, footwork and grime frenzy. 
Label head MoonDoctoR joins Nikes on "Splash", with the duo making a wild drum-and-bass style roller with one seriously weighty bassline. 

"Flute Jam" with Chango and MoonDoctoR shows off the classic Freshmoon Records style. Jungle, jazz, and juke elements shine brightly here, with a hypnotic flute floating across the track. 

The EP rounds out with remixes from two global friends of the label -- Canada's Hesk and India's Yung Raj. Hesk delivers a lush-but-deadly footwork version of "Splash", while Yung Raj comes with an insane turbo flip of "re-send" that is a perfect tool for the rave. 

"re-send" marks the start of new sounds from Nikes as well as the rest of the Freshmoon Records camp soon... stay tuned.

For GATEKEEPER RADIO: I'm Hero, a DJ and producer based in Berlin. My work blends African rhythms with electronic sounds, reflecting a deep focus on pan-African electronic music, particularly Batida. As part of Amour Africain and the SAUTI (sound or noise in Swahili) movement, I aim to push underrepresented Afro-electronic sounds into new spaces, creating a blend that celebrates tradition and modernity. My DJ mix, "SAUTI from Berlin", features a journey through electronic Batida sounds, including some of my productions. The 2nd release of 2018 on Gang Fatale is the first solo project from founding member Neana (on the Trak)
Following the lounge album Portal, the label returns to the natural environment of The Club. Two long-awaited Fatale classics come in the form of Neana’s ‘Private Joke’ and ‘Scrub’ with a video by Jungle Joe. 
Private Joke is a rendition of Ms Jackson’s Control, syncopated snares, toms and pastel synth chops scrap over a constantly rotating 8 bar structure. An intense sense of nostalgia is executed within JJ’s video: concise or lost memories are warped through hazy filters of shapeshifting colour, reflecting the fast paced but personal attitude of track 1.

Track 2 'Scrub' is a drum machine workout heading straight for dance club euphoria. Mimicking the rolling structure instigated by Private Joke, Scrub denies all melodic elements to allow the clientele to present their own tonality with confidence. Crashing and burning for over 5 minutes of action!!! , Scrub embodies utopian big room ambitions for dystopian futures.

Parisian imprint [re]sources is unveiling the third volume of its Human Resources series, following up with the previous editions which had introduced to a new generation of French producers such as Sylvere, Sunareht, Le Dom, Chams, Katuchat or Dehousy.

With this new release, the [re]sources crew have invited international friends and producers, some of them who were guests on the label’s bi-monthly radio show on Rinse France. An extended number of nationalities is represented in this list of rising DJs and producers: Australia (Galtier), Greece (Radio Etc), Japan (Grandivaa), Mexico (Omaar), Korea (Mignon), USA (Ten TwentySeven, Farsight) and quite a few brits (Holloway, Arma, LMajor, El James, J-Shadow).

Tempos run from 90 to 140 bpm while the mood captures the essence of the new club cultures and cross genre experimentations. A blend of UK bass influences that merge together in the sounds of Techno, Electro, Dancehall, UK Funky, Jungle and UK Garage. A sound the label has been pushing for more than 5 years now. A weighty stack of club smashers you won't never stop to boost in the sound system, at home and on the dancefloor.

The forthcoming 13 tracks compilation will be downloadable exclusively on [re]sources’ Bandcamp page, starting Monday Sept 30th.

Constantine is a music producer/DJ from the southside of Chicago, Illinois. While growing up in a city that’s heavily influenced by Ghetto House and Juke music this inspired him to start producing and DJing those genres while also blending it with Jersey Club, House, Baile Funk and Techno.

While remaining true to the sound he enjoys producing and performing. He’s been able to travel outside his hometown and perform in cities like Los Angeles and New York. It even earned him a guest slot on Dublab Radio, Rinse France, The Lot Radio and even debuting at the North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois. His original music was even sampled by Skrillex on his second studio album “Quest For Fire” in 2023.

In recent years his music has gotten him the attention and support of international artists such as Skrillex, Diplo/Major Lazer, Habibeats, DJ Sliink, DJ 4B, DJ FuckOff, FourColorZack, Bianca Oblivion, Miley Serious, VTSS, 100Gecs, Victoria (of Maneskin), George Daniel (of The 1975) and more. With support from the artist named and others alike his music has been played in radio stations, festivals and shows such as SiriusXM, Boiler Room, Dublab Radio, NTS Radio, RinseFm, Rinse France, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, The Lot Radio and many more.
