You Wanna Hear the Music

The original song "You're The Best" from the original Karate Kid (1984) has been one of my favorite songs since childhood.  The desire to make an EDM remix is literally what prompted me to start looking into music production at all.  

The Karate Kid series is near and dear to me.  With the final season of Cobra Kai on the horizon, I felt like it was time to bring this song back with a modern twist.  I hope to have done it justice in the eyes of fellow Karate Kid fans.

Rewinding for Us

The song is a female-fronted indie pop ballad with a melancholic yet hopeful tone. The tempo is slow, around 60 BPM, and the key is C minor.
