Construct podcast // EP017 - A2XBY

A-Two-X-B-Why, also known as A2XBY, is a 23 year old artist from Eindhoven, The
Netherlands. The passion for music was ingrained from childhood. At the age of 13 he
bought his first dj-controller, which then remained a hobby.

In October 2021, he went for the first time to a rave. At first, he felt a little uneasy and
overwhelmed also because he's always sober – but in the end, he was completely
impressed. He loved the boost in energy that the loud music gave him and the amazing
laser light show. 

In February 2022, he went to Rotterdam Rave for the first time. This
event really enhanced the love for techno, and he also started going to raves almost
every week, yes sober. After visiting a new underground rave concept in 2022, he
discovered his true music preference: Industrial Techno. It was from that point that he
started to realise what aspects of techno he liked and didn't lik, and that sparked his
creativity to create his own style.
It all started in the beginning of 2023. He released a few tracks, and they were very well
received. It was indescribable to hear my own song in real life at raves. 

Towards the end
of 2023, He received unexpectedly a big booking, so that is what started me working as
a producer and DJ.
He is trying to create a storyline for the audience. During his sets and productions, the
music becomes more and more intense and dark. He is starting with Bochka and
working towards Industrial Techno. He only uses tracks that fit his style and of course
there are also some songs of his own.
