64x4x2 game as described by Kate:
Beginning with 8 sampled loops (4 per person) as templates for pitch/tempo and sources of inspiration, we repeatedly overdub our own sounds on top of the source loops, doing "passes" on each loop 4 times and alternating between source loops each week.  When a pass is finished, the source loop is removed from the recording leaving on the newly created sounds. Every week we share the last 2 beats of our latest passes to influence the next round.  The resulting passes (64 in total) link together in the "sample trains" and show the progression of building sounds and making repeated passes on each of the source loops.  With that process complete, we share the stems from each pass and utilize them to create the final compositions you hear on the tape.

A collision of two electronic artists on a digital audio workstation or DAW use four simple samples to play a sonic form of Exquisite Corpse, the Dada doodle game.  Two measure samples are exchanged and overdubbed by any means necessary.  Before re-exchanging, the overdub is isolated from the source sample, and only the last two beats are sent to the next round.  Using the last two beats, the samples are overdubbed again using the same process until each sample has had 4 passes from each participant.  The overdubs are assembled in order, hitched together in trains to emphasize progress and the contrast in style.  From there, the overdubs were stemmed out into a further round of refinement where new compositions were formed for the cassette DAW DAW ONE
