The Cause

The seven piece metal/hard rock project Consume the Divide, aim to make a statement.  Three thunderous guitarists and two vocalists change the dynamic and thought process of what your average band is.  Founded in 2012, they have seen many inner changes happen.  Combining projects in 2013 was truly the starting point and lift off CTD needed.  Combining with members from another Chicago based project, they were poised to make a statement.  The high energy shows leave crowds wanting more.  In 2015, Consume the Divide released its first EP titled "A Silent Truth E.P." (Nick Nativo).  The single "The Cause"  became somewhat of a local scene anthem. In spring of 2017, they released their second studio effort titled "A Passed Life".  The name of the album and song "The Masked One" are a direct tribute to their fallen friend and brother Ray Rivera.  The new singles, "Serenity" and "Ghost" show the more melodic side of what they have become.  Listen to various radio stations around the world for those two tracks.  The band has been blessed to play such venues as House of Blues Chicago,  Summerfest,  and the Revival We have shared the stage with many talented acts varying in genres such as: Dope, In This Moment, Saving Abel, All That Remains, Mushroomhead, Ventana, Otep, Motograter, New Years Day, Dead Horse Trauma, VYCES, Battlecross, IKILLYA, Product of Hate, Andrew W.K., Stolen Babies, Lydia Can't Breath, The Alpha Complex, and Team Cybergest plus various midwest bands in our careers. Consume the Divide wants listeners to be a part of our development as a band and live show.  Our new E.P." A Passed Life" is now available for purchase at shows.
