Noisy guitars, hammering drumgrooves, pushing basslines and sometimes even sporadic, almost sacral, organ parts are the elements which constitute the sound of Contact High. Fusing together energetic Indie-Rock of the early 2000s, grimy Alternative Rock of the 90s, cranky Post-Punk and every now and then even sluggish Stoner-Rock, Contact High are always searching for the sounds which haunt their intoxicated minds late at night. What do you call that sound? It doesn’t matter, as long as it’s loud.
Founded in 2011, they went through some line up changes, before arriving at the current and best one. 2013 they also released their debut EP called „On the Run“.

Laute Gitarrensalven, hämmernde Drumgrooves, drückende Basslines und da und dort sogar vereinzelte, fast sakral anmutende Orgelstellen sind die Elemente aus denen sich der Sound von Contact High zusammensetzt. An der Schnittstelle zwischen energischem Indie-Rock der frühen 2000er, schrummeligem Alternative-Rock der 90er, verschrobenem Post-Punk und hin und wieder sogar schleppendem Stoner-Rock suchen Contact High den Sound der spätnachts durch ihre umnebelten Köpfe geistert. Wie nennt man das? Egal, denn es ist laut.
2011 gegründet, durchlief man einige Besetzungswechsel bis man in der jetzigen Konstellation die optimale gefunden hatte. 2013 erschien außerdem die Debut-EP „On the Run“.
