Today we premiere a track from one of the most well respected producers and highly regarded sound engineers Joe Farr, as the User Experience head honcho gets ready to release his 'Surface Tension' EP tomorrow.

Given the last 14 months, Joe jokes in his press release about "Four tracks that are meant to be heard in a club, but probably won't be", but we can assure you, we'll be rinsing this EP out as soon as we can, now that the end of lockdowns are in sight. In the meantime, blasting it from your bluetooth speaker in the park will do just nicely.

We premiere the fourth track on the EP entitled 'I Last Forever', which is a dark, moody and pacy dance floor thumper, full of hi-hats and big room energy.

Ben Klock introduces Greek-raised, Moscow-based artist Stef Mendesidis for the next Klockworks release. Mendesidis delivers 3 original tracks utilising solely analogue gear to produce soundscapes inspired by cinematic scenes. These sounds transport the listener through resonating grooves and classy chords that fit the signature Klockworks sound. Focusing mainly on his machines for the craft of his music, Mendesidis recorded all cuts in one take. To celebrate his EP release, he will join of the Klockworks showcase at Berghain on December 29th.

French duo Laval returns to Pär Grindvik's Stockholm LTD imprint, 'Origins' is taking place as a follow up to their well-acclaimed 'Cold Hearts' album, released early 2018. Laval has had a brilliant rise since surfacing on Stockholm LTD in 2017, now they serve up the label's last release of the year. 

'Origins' is a steady three tracker in true Laval aesthetic, showcasing the duo's skills of blending experimental and heavy rhythm patterns with beautiful atmospheres and melodies. Laval's music is for sure connecting the dots between dance music and the listening realm.

Code Walk returns to Peder Mannerfelt Produktion (@the-subliminal-kid) with a triptych release spanning 3 EPs with a total of 15 tracks. 

Representing the cream of the crop of the young Copenhagen underground, Code Walk expands on the fast techno style of the Danish capital incorporating UK leaning bass and IDM vibrations to create a sound world that is completely their own. 

Accompanied by strong visual works by Eigil Bakdal Jørgensen “Phases Triptych” should not be seen as a collection of tracks but rather a statement by a duo confident of being in the zone.

"We consider Phases Triptych to be our debut album split into three pieces. It includes all our styles of production and all of our dynamic range. Teaming up with Peder Mannerfelt to release it has been a great help in terms of putting together the three EPs.

We have collaborated with Eigil Bakdal Jørgensen to create a visual aesthetic that could add to the vibe of the release. To us, his works has a dark and unpleasant vibe that still has a touch of humor, which is something we can relate to. He started out by making the covers and filming his process which resulted in the footage we used to make the trailer video. From there we started filming ourselves and collaborating on the other parts of the artwork." - Code Walk
