Michal Jablonski comes from Warsaw / Poland. He played at all of Poland’s most important venues for electronic music. Michal’s productions were released on Secret Keywords, Circular Limited, Counter Pulse, Trau-ma, Blackwater, Somewhere, Minicromusic and many more. Within the last years, Michal proved that the scope of his interest and production ability reaches much further than just one genre. He experiments within a broad spectrum ranging from dubstep and drum’n’bass to house, minimal, ambient and his beloved techno. His style in techno can be described as raw energy which sometimes contains the background noise and ambience characteristic for dub techno and industrial off-beat techno . Michal  is currently a member of the collective „SLAP” which is very acctive in Poland.

To say that Dimi Angélis has been around, is to state the obvious. When during the late nineties techno first got hold in The Netherlands, Dimi was there to help shape the culture that would see it flourish. Promoting raves and warehouse parties in Amsterdam and putting his first needle on a record back when ‘underground’ actually meant something, he has since built a career that spans two decades. His craftsmanship is based on emotion, honesty and the firm belief that music has the power to move and educate. Over time his path has taken him everywhere from Berghain and Awakenings to Under Club and Dekmantel. 
Besides playing records, Dimi is an avid producer. After teaming up with Jeroen Search in 2004, the first half of his twenty-odd active years saw him release a string of sought-after EP’s and LP’s on Mission (6277/Axis), Stockholm LTD and their co-owned A&S label. 
Now, as the beginning of a third decade draws closer, Dimi’s been equally successful in putting out solo music on Construct Re-Form, Krill Music, Falling Ethics Warm Up Records and his own ANGLS imprint. Much like Dimi ANGLS is a platform for open and straigthforward techno, helping to shape the genre for another two decades to come.

Sometimes the darkest feelings provide, in a painful paradox, the biggest of pleasures. 

The DJ and producer Insolate demonstrates the truth of this analysis by producing rough & dark techno infused with emotion inspired by her 20 years as a DJ. 

Hailing from Osijek, Croatia, on the wide Croatian East – a town that at first glance a heavy industrial atmosphere overshadows - this is where she made first steps as a DJ back in 1997 before taking over European and worldwide clubs. 

She's already played some of the world’s most renowned clubs including Berghain, Rex, Tresor, Under Club, Club d’Anvers, Exit Festival, Tomorrowland, ADE and Dimensions Festival plus numerous Colombian tours over the years and soon to add the United States and Argentina to the list in 2018. 

As a producer, she's had a string of releases on highly respected labels including DJ Deep's Deeply Rooted and Marcelus’s Singular supported and played by some of techno's finest including Laurent Garnier, DVS1, Dax J and Ilario Alicante. This year, she also released the stellar Obscure Object Of Desire EP on JoeFarr's new User Experience imprint, two original tracks that stroke the perfect balance between groove, power and emotion. 

Insolate is also a major contributor to the Croatian techno scene, so much so that she was in Ibiza to receive the award for "Dance Nation of the Year" at the DJ Awards on behalf of her nation. Her and long-time partner in crime Volster also run the event series TRAUM in her native Osijek. Not traditionally a city with a strong techno scene, the TRAUM events have cemented their place in the clubbing calendar with quality artists like Paula Temple, Antigone, Cassegrain, Janice, Etapp Kyle and Milton Bradley. 

The success of the TRAUM nights caught the attention of Red Bull Music Academy and Dimensions – both of which they have hosted official events for. Insolate being an international messenger of techno was recognized by Ambassador award that gave her a title "Croatia’s ambassador overseas" for 2017. 

The final part of putting Osijek on the techno map was taken in 2015 with the launch of the label Out Of Place which Insolate runs with Volster. The label was named in honour of the beautiful struggle of carving your own way into the scene from a place that's well off the grid from the traditional capitals of techno. Now three releases strong, the label has already had contributions from heavyweights like Milton Bradley and Developer. Label is currently on the 4th edition with a new release coming out in summer 2018 including artists Francois X, JoeFarr and Disrupted Project. 

As a DJ, Insolate is well known for her no-compromise, pure-bred techno sets. It's clear to anyone who's seen her perform that she's an artist with a lot of experience but also plenty of inspiration and ambition, and a deep knowledge of techno. She is simply a natural presence in a DJ booth. If you've seen her play, you will know exactly what this means.

Grown up in the heydays of techno, Mario Castillo quickly gained notoriety for his intense sets and fine skills behind three decks. Owning an afterclub and managing underground parties asserted his maturity, giving shape to a formed independence that led him to start with music production and open his own vinyl label Soul Notes in 2011.
While the imprint achieved great yield in the house club scene, a natural mutation arised towards his roots and the genres of techno, surfacing the new vinyl outfit Stale where he is now immersed with his own recordings and a paired functionality, crafting a fresh artistic range, home to techno and experimental works by Irazu, Deapmash, I-Real and more, and at once extending praise to respected artists with remixes by the likes of Regis, Lag, Pessimist or Acronym.
A few artists have a catalogue as diverse as Kastil, since origin, a gradual change take place, all time pushed forward by a knowledge hunger and impulsivity to master his sound artistry. In this change surge the dedication to drive boundaries to new territories in 2016, giving shape to an improvised live set with modular synths that forces to land unique mastery of musical instruments and his own sound, raising expectation on each show.
With the acclaimed debut album as No Spiritual Surrender with J.C., and a rising solid reputation due latest solo releases played by DVS1, Adam Beyer, Marcel Dettmann, DJ Pete, Cosmin TRG, Dax J, Matrixxman,
and Truss, to name a few, he is attaining a place in the international club scene with recent gigs at renowned techno clubs like Tresor, Berghain or Elysia, and strongly setting up for another successful year.

Since the mid-1990s, Rich Oddie and Christina Sealey have been creating a unique fusion of techno, industrial, and electro-acoustic music. Using modular and analog synthesizers, software, location recordings and feedback circuits, Oddie and Sealey draw upon the darker tendencies of techno, electro, and dub, and combine these elements with the experimental aesthetics of early industrial music. Orphx has gained an international following as one of the pioneering acts within the European "rhythmic noise" scene and has more recently come to the attention of techno fans through their releases and remix work on Sonic Groove and Semantica.

They have performed in numerous countries around the world, appearing at celebrated venues such as Berghain (Berlin), Mutek (Montreal) and Qwartz (Paris), and sharing the stage with artists such as Alva Noto, Byetone, Laurie Anderson, Legowelt, Marcel Dettmann, Monolake, Pan Sonic and many others. Oddie and Sealey have also collaborated on audio / visual projects and exhibitions related to their musical work. Orphx have released nine albums and numerous singles on vinyl, cd and cassette. Their most recent work further develops a dark hybrid of techno, dub and industrial that has been met with critical acclaim from many of techno's leading DJs.

Arguing that it’s about time for Stefan Vincent to step into the limelight is understating matters. After all, if you’re able to count the heads of some of the world’s finest labels, (think Token, Sthlm LTD and Dynamic Reflection) and the likes of Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills among your fans, you’re obviously doing something right. This relative anonymity isn’t something that troubles the Amsterdam based producer, DJ and live act, though: more than willing to invest time in his art, the man literally lives in his studio and so is in no hurry whatsoever.
His path, unlike that of many, hasn’t found him go from playing records to making them, but instead, after discovering work by inspirational figures like Steve Rachmad, Surgeon and Jeff Mills, Stefan immediately set to work on his won creative projects. Whether it is playing a DJ set or cooking up an expressive live set, Stefan always translates his singularly deep, rich and driving sound into the club environment. With a good amount of solid techno releases under his belt, he continues to win over the hearts and dancing feet of audiences across the planet.

This week's Global Vibe Radio episode proposes the sonic landscapes of Italian deep techno artist Giorgio Gigli.

Gigli is the head of Zooloft Records, and counts releases on some of techno's most esteemed labels including Electric Deluxe, M_rec ltd, Semantica, Wagon Repair, Turbo, Prologue, Elettronica Romana, Mental Groove and Planet Rhythm.

After a deep exploration of several kinds of electronic dance music, in a broad evolutionary path, Giorgio Gigli’s music has reached an intense and personal form of communication.

The modules emerging from his compositions run across a process where moods are transformed into waves, layers and substrates that are ready to catch and overwhelm the listener without changing original content. 

His skill is to transmit an accurate signal using undiscovered frequencies inspired by desolate and noir tinged landscapes.

Giorgio transforms his material, voids, pitfalls, drones and expanded melodies become intricate, sophisticated, and hypnotic rhythmic equipment that runs the risk of constantly changing classicist techno aesthetics in a conceptual derivation close to his soul.

In 2019 he released an album together with Bichord, Space Whales, on Planeth Rhythm, a label you have already seen him on for collab EPs with Paul Ritch and VSK.
