ϟ "Mon Coeur" a.k.a. "Samson and Delilah (Aria)" by Klaus Nomi is a cover of the popular mezzo-soprano aria from Camille Saint-Saëns's opera "Samson and Delilah".

ϟ Pop singer Klaus Nomi would often end his concerts with a countertenor rendition of this haunting piece. It is sung by Delilah, in act 2, as she attempts to seduce Samson into revealing the secret of his strength.

ϟ This liturgical remix appears exclusively on "The Nomi Song" DVD: a fascinating documentary about Nomi, whose music blended disco, camp, classical music, and sci-fi. The first performance artist, indeed.

Rome's Novembre are a band that has made a solid impression upon both the Death Metal and atmospheric Metal scenes with equally strong results. 

Ever since their inception, word about the group has spread among the underground scene on a worldwide basis. 

It was back in September 1990 when the two brothers Carmelo Orlando (guitars and vocals) and Giuseppe Orlando (drums) formed the band 'Catacomb'. 

In the fall of 1994 the band recorded their highly-acclaimed debut, 'Wish I Could Dream It Again...' in Dan Swano's Unisound Studios. This was right around the same time as other leaders of the initial atmospheric scene recorded their first and early albums, making Novembre among the first bands to pursue and develop this style. Several well-received albums followed, bringing Novembre to the fore-front of the atmospheric metal scene. 

Eventually Novembre came to the attention of legendary label, Peaceville Records. A label that traced a deep and binding mark on Novembre's song writing spine. 

Since the signing of the deal in 2004, the band locked themselves up in their garage to write their fifth and best album 'Materia' once again recorded in their Outer Sound Studios. The charge to give Materia the best sound Novembre has ever had was given to the Helsinki?s Finnvox Studios where the band recorded all the rhythm guitars and completed the final mix.
