Niki is a Vancouver-based DJ, musician and the host of the monthly podcast series 'Allure' on Frisky Radio. Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming DJ. From raiding her parents’ record collection when she was just a child, to becoming resident at Vancouver’s MIA, Niki has continuously been living with the music in the forefront. Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks, and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes.

This was the last set of my Spring tour and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish off my travels. Last minute, I decided to do a downtempo slow jam set, because as soon as I stepped into the club I felt it was very fitting of the atmosphere.
I’ve been extremely lucky to play in some amazing places, but Kater Blau holds a very special place in my heart. 
The crowd is very receptive – they are there for their love for music, interacting with one another, and having a great time. There are so many smiles, cheers, and a feeling of togetherness amongst everyone in the room. The energy allows for many good ideas to manifest right there and then behind the decks. A lot of my DJing education comes from the days and nights spent there. So for that, I feel very honored that I get invited to play there time and time again.

The duo manages to make you drift from reality to a fictional journey into a different world. For more than four years Alex and Saskia have been part of the electronic music scene, spreading their driving, deep, hence melodic and playful sound focusing on one message their music reveals to every single person: love! While Saskia‘s musical skills developed during early childhood piano lessons, Alex made first contact with electronic music with his “Minimal Lounge“ solo project. Releasing on labels such as Katermukke, Hanse Hertz, Plötzlich Music and Connaisseur Recordings it is their own imprint Underyourskin Records that has been causing a buzz lately and on which Just Emma releases their dark and melodic interpretation of electronic music. Therefore the duo prefers to play the early morning hours to attract the crowd with an ocean of diverse sounds.

A little while ago we had the honour to play at one of Switzerlands most beautiful festival gems, the Am Bach Festival. Here's the recording of our set we played on Saturday at sun set. It was a Saturday afternoon, after a full day of dancing and connection we found ourselves going crazy to the tribal beats of Lemurian in The Dark Side Of The Moon stage. We witnessed how he controlled the crowd in ways we can't explain, we saw an intense ball of energy grow exponentially with every second of his set. We danced like there was no tomorrow.

It was beautiful. It was magic. And we can't be more happy today to be sharing this gift with all of you.
