Who is Contepella?

The criminally underrated Contepella is a DJ and producer who has been an active member of the bustling Oslo club scene since the late 90`s, when he joined the dj-collectives Skadubski Dj Team and later the Elektromonika crew. Both parties being busy making their mark by pushing more underground sounds like d&b, breaks and dubstep since its early beginnings. 
As a producer he has been making remixes for many norwegian outfits`s like Folk & Røvere, Flunk, Howard Maple and Don Juan Dracula (under the aliases Elektromonika or Scapegoat) 
He has for some years now been slugging it out as part of the FastOslow radio collective. Broadcasting every Sunday on nsbradio.co.uk  (11am -1pm GMT) http://soundcloud.com/fastoslow
Since 2012 he has been associated with Riddemspider Audio`s fledgling Hardcore Love label, where he has been keeping busy delivering a plethora of banging unofficial remixes, weird folk-freak edits and his unique take on the sounds of foootwork and juke. Contepella is a natural born beat maker whose productions are steadily getting more and more attention across unorthodox dancefloors all over where they are heard, also internationally. 
As was the case late summer 2013 when one of his remixes fetched the ear of techno godfather, Kevin "Master Reeese" Saunderson, who personally approved of Contepella`s remix of Inner City`s "Good Life" and thus bringing this amazing producer to become the very first Norwegian to ever get released on Saudersons legendary KMS label.
