Its about time Contineum gets some love. Its been on the back burner for the past year maybe even 2 due to other projects. Recently i connected with a wonderful individual Lawrence aka Dj Paradigm from sculpted sounds and we both realised we have very similar visions in music and forged a friendship based on mutual respect, especially around the fullon area of psytrance. Soooooooo i have decided to join the Sculpted Sounds family with contineum. 

Here is a mix of a collection of all my most daytime tracks i have. I had alot of fun making this.

Contineum is the solo project of Matthew Kyriakides also the founder of Mutagen Records. 

His musical journey started when he was 9 with guitar lessons but he soon found electronic music and very quickly moved to the dance music scene. Starting out as a drum n' bass and hip hop DJ and then 7 years ago he discovered his passion for psychedelic trance, motivated by the friendly parties and the cutting edge music being played at them.

The culmination of Matt's experience is his exciting project. This is a fresh sonic outlook on his style, and strongly influenced by the new upsurge of the 'tech' style of psychedelic trance. Mind Sweep brings you deep baselines buried beneath atmospheric and hypnotic soundscapes with a fusion of digital and analogue production techniques, giving his music a powerful lucidity that resonates with hyper-charged dancefloors.

Matt's unrelenting passion and his fearsome energy have found an affinity within this new sound that is at the cutting edge of psychedelic music. This new musical direction opens up the doorway for him to beautifully express the raw energy that is packed into his personality, bringing to life the intense energies that permeate his existence.

Having released on labels such as Magic Phangan, 24/7, Mutagen, Aphid Records, to just a few and worked with such artists as Mechanimal, Endeavour, Intelligence, Aphidmoon, Sinerider and recently remixed Materia and  much more. Now working with such artists as Disorder, Plasmotek, Attik, Shockwave, Rubix Qube and more, as well as some solo material, you can expect to see the new and exciting style Contineum has forged over the last 2 years.
