OMEN006 CCO - Permanent Revolution

There are only few constants in life, Speedparade is one of them. The now infamous party at Mikro Zurich launches its first compilation featuring friends and talents across the borders. The collection contains more than 30 songs and features some of the most intriguing electronic music subgenres out there. The album will be        available as a free download on Bandcamp, Slsk and Torrent on August 12 2022 (one day before the actual rave).  A 2xCD + T-Shirt will be available soon - so stay tuned.

Various - Speedparade Compilation Vol. 1 - 28 CCO - Escape Velocity

Swiss label Phantom Island's second compilation features 5 previously unreleased tracks from the label's roster. The A-side kicks off with L.A.-based Maraschino remixed by Fuga Ronto, a bass-laden treatment that nods to the dancefloor. Second is Zurich's own crooner who is looking for fun: Moreeats, remixed by label co-owner Kejeblos. This is groove-heavy business that will get stuck in your ears. The B-side leads into dreamier realms, starting with CCO (Florin Büchel) in his most cosmic acid outfit. Followed by Ethimm, whose contribution proves his ability to create a romantic genre mix on a carefully arranged mid-tempo tune. The EP is brought to a close by Lexx with a soothing instrumental that will take you safely through a gentle drizzle of rain. The cover artwork by artist Anna Hilti is a depiction of 6 orchid species that are in danger of extinction in Switzerland. Uncommon species for sure!

Mosaique Records is a quite recently born russian label from St-Petersburg run by Alexandr Moralez. They made a nice very limited tape release of 50 copies last november and are ready to step in the real game. Their first 12" soon to be released is all about acid, electro & analog stuffs and showcases a nice international cast. We loved the CCO release on Endless Illusion so decided to premiere this tasty "Epicycles" track by the swiss producer Florin Buchel, enjoy !

Photic Fields usher a new name into the fold, Switzerland’s Contra Communem Opinionem aka CCO. The Lux Rec and Mathematics alumni arrives with The Road to the Stars, five tracks of his trademark acid elegance. The ferocity of the 303 has been sheathed, percussion pared down with lush chords and deep warmth being the focus. House is the foundation from which CCO builds. Those time honoured sounds support cascading melodies and fragile keys for a 12” that borders between armchair abstraction, floor funk and the night sky.

Savage Grounds released their first three records on Lux Rec of which one of the members from this Swiss duo is the label boss Daniele Cosmo and the other half the talented CCO. This new EP is the first release coming out elsewhere. Savage Grounds have created a sound of their own, a sort of post-techno which combines elements of techno, elektro, EBM, acid and industrial but these tracks will for sure also appeal to lovers of analogue synth music as the whole EP sounds like it has been recorded in an one take synth jam. Raw and fierce synth sounds for the body and soul… 250 copies ready to fly around mid september !

PREMIERE : Savage Grounds - Wall Of Rubber

The new FEMUR release features the Swiss duo SAVAGE GROUNDS, agents of a dirty, raw and miserable sound. “Es un flash electrónico” is a true exercise of proximity and freshness combining mid-tempo landscapeses with stimulating accelerated bursts. The release consists of 3 original tracks and a remix by Esplendor Geométrico, which elevates the original called “Última línea” to another dimension.
