Coalesce has emerged from the love of club culture in its truest formats. The intimate parties where genres and communities are born. Where connection to the music is at its strongest and the energy in that experience is shared by everyone in attendance. Low ceilings, dark rooms and big sound systems, authenticity in the music that’s being played and a journey of sound, lights and shared moments.

An experience for 500 heads only. We aim to emulate that type of clubbing experience in a festival format. Three days and nights across three intimate venues and one daytime stage, a focus on clarity of sound and intricate production

It may come as no surprise after hearing J. Kong’s discography that the 19 year old has a strong musical background. Tutored in classical music at a young age, studying musical theory and playing in a number of orchestras and jazz bands. His interest in underground culture in recent years inspired him to take that musical knowledge and apply it to production at the age of 15. Through his recent move to North London, his immersion in the capital’s rich musical culture has increased tenfold.

Some 4 years later he has a host of releases under his belt varying across the Bass, Grime & Dubstep spectrum on the likes of Saucy Music and Ali McK’s Articulate Sound. His debut EP ‘Nonsense’ on In:Flux Audio in November 2018 charted at #4. This also had remixes from the likes of 1Forty’s J69. Other releases have seen him receive support from Sammy Virji, Bushbaby & more. Appearances at the likes of Lightbox (London), Thirty3Hz in Guildford and The Cellar in Oxford have also boosted his reputation supporting the likes of Skepsis, DJ Hazard and Unglued. 

He continues 2019 in a similar vain with a Grime/Dubstep hybrid on ‘Cut That’ featuring Lavz. A 23 year old female MC from Luton who’s been on the circuit releasing music across Hip Hop & Grime since her teen years. Receiving support continuously in recent years on the BBC Introducing platforms as well as Reprezent Radio. Lavz has live performances under her belt as well on bigger stages performing at the likes of Stanton Calling alongside Akala and Little Sims.

The 2 have come together together to open up the ‘4 Weeks Of 1Forty’ project in weighty style.

The Canadian duo Levrige is back to The Dreamers Recordings with a vibrant three track EP. This release proves once again the great talent of these producers, able to master the breakbeat & bassline science adding their own artistic touch and delivering  product with clear footwork influences, mixing oldschool influences with a contemporary sound research. “Boss Move” is a feel good footwork tune with a tropical flair. The song is characterized by it's bouncy bongo shuffles, percussive bass stab and sweeping synth line. “OMG” finds a sophisticated balance between modern sounds and old school flavour. Using a revamped version of the Dred Bass, classic vocals, and a moody melody, Levrige pay homage to classic jungle. “Rom Pom” is the perfect balance of dancehall inspired halftime and jungle rhythms. The energetic vocal chant, chopped breaks, and shuffly shakers combine to engage full skank-out mode.

Hailing from the West Coast of Canada comes the duo Levrige, aka Erski & J.F.Killah. Representing Vancouver's famed SHAHdjs crew, they have been honing their skills for years. Producing their own unique brand of infectious bass music, they represent an exciting wave of talent from Canada's West Coast. Effortlessly combining elements of Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Jungle and Footwork, their music is a perfect representation of all that is right with underground dance music. The iconic melodies and depth in their work is evident in their sound, which ranges from tough badboy swagger to smooth dubby grooves.
