Dropout Marsh est de retour avec « Horizons », un EP dans lequel il poursuis ses expérimentations et ses explorations. À la fois cinématique, épique et narratif, comme souvent chez le producteur basé à Montpellier, « Horizons » est un scénario à multiples interprétations, dans lequel les parties mélodiques et rythmiques peuvent tour à tour passer au premier plan, comme se fondre dans le lointain. Les 4 morceaux se répondent et reflètent l’état d’apaisement que peut apporter le fait de voyager, significativement influencé par des artistes comme Machinedrum, Four Tet, Bonobo, Luke Vibert ou Ross From Friends.


Dropout Marsh is back with "Horizons", an EP in which he continues his experiments and explorations. At once cinematic, epic and narrative, as is often the case with the Montpellier-based producer, "Horizons" is a scenario with multiple interpretations, in which the melodic and rhythmic parts can alternately come to the fore, as if blending into the distance. The 4 tracks respond to each other and reflect the state of calm that travel can bring, significantly influenced by artists like Machinedrum, Four Tet, Bonobo, Luke Vibert or Ross From Friends.

Medipack takes the listener on a relaxing ride to one's inner center. It's the first part of the two-track EP with the same name, which is about providing the perfect soundtrack for mental healing. 
As typical for Green Piccolo, the artist with Phonk origins uses of deep sub-basses underpinned by bright, luminous elements, giving an almost divine vibration.
Unlike the usual  lofi artists, Green Piccolo also manages to break up the standardized arrangement patterns of part and hook by creating an exciting dramaturgy with phases for rest and a disbursing climax, which is normally known from classical or electronic music. Medipack is an absolute must, for all who want to pause their head and everyday stress for 2:48min.

"I decided to start this label at the end of 2019 by releasing "Retineat et Salvet”, a personal and cinematic EP that didn’t seem to fit with the labels I submitted it to at the time.
I feel thankful for all the great music we’ve been able to release this year despite the situation and not being able to get events going, for the great artists who accepted the idea I had to let them send me a picture of their own for the artwork, they all came out beautiful and I’m proud of what we’re building little by little, thanks to the homies who joined force around me !
