Critical Monday is back for the first release of 2024 with a 3 track EP from the boss herself: Bonnie Spacey, embarking you on a sonic journey through pulsating beats and mysterious vibes, a mesmerizing fusion somewhere between rock and techno as she likes to call it.

In « En Cavale », the last track of the EP, Bonnie leaves english for her native french. With lighter sounds and cheerful melodies, this may seem like the softest track of the EP, but the lyrics refer to current events and wars happening in different parts of the world, suggesting that in many situations, the only solution left is to go on the run!

Premiere: Bonnie Spacey - Don't Let Me Down [Critical Monday]

Born in Mexico, now living in France, Leonor is a well received producer with a remarkable impact in the electronic scene releasing in labels such Feines Tier, My Favorite Robot to name a few.
He lands on Polaris with a beautiful Ep plenty of matisses, featuring a collaboration with the  French producer 'Iba Boo'.

The Ep kicks off with shimmering energy with the track ‘Yo Soy'. The Mexican artist sets the scene with a sprawling, spacey trip. With deep chugging and undulating guitars, it's a swampy, intense road trip... with no way home.

We continue with the track 'Cold', a magnificent piece in collaboration with the talented 'Iba Boo' where the chords of his Telecaster blend with the vocals where good vibrations and positive energy are omnipresent.

For the remix, French duo Damon Jee & Darlyn Vlys join forces to reinterpret their version of "Yo Soy", a poignant version destined to hit the dancefloor.
While , the German duo Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht deliver their own version of 'Yo Soy', bringing their own acid and dark signature to the ep

The captain returns to his ship with two new dancefloor weapons. 
This time he's teamed up with Autralian producer Haptic for the track 'Last Drive'. 
On the remix duties, we warmly welcome to the talented Brazilian Waltervelt (Ellum). 


Last Drive' is the first chapter of the story, a track that takes listeners on a psychedelic journey with Australian Haptic's trippy vocal and infectious rock rythms, creating a captivating and hypnotic break. 


We continue with ‘Abre Los Ojos’, another solid and compact signature track from the French producer, with an infectious groove that gets stuck in your head, accompanied by cinematic breaks that will get crowds dancing. A perfectly executed track for your closing set. 

Waltervelt's remix is an extraordinary reinterpretation, retaining the essence of the original and taking it to its darkest side.

We start with 'Mayday’, a hypnotic track characterized by meticulous synth work and shamanic vocals that propel you forward. The result is an eclectic and captivating piece of work.

We continue with 'Overblock', an energetic track with musical influences marked by an imposing vocoder presence that will drive the listener mad. Every sound is well utilized in this beautifully dark production.
A solid hypnotic piece for the most underground clubs.

Norris Division, a music production and DJ duo based in Phoenix, Arizona, takes on IIO's legendary Rapture.

A classic revisited, Rapture featuring Nadi Ali has been a staple in the dance community since itʼs release in 2001. Fast forward to 2018 and her infectious vocal still resonates with people today. Wanting a deeper cut that would bring back nostalgic memories, Norris Division decided to revisit a tune that has been a favourite throughout the years.

Norris Division is the brainchild of Justin Shiba and David Epstein, who joined their collective experience and vast background to create powerful tracks, inspired by Progressive, Deep House and Melodic Techno.
