In high school, I bought turntables and didn't understand anything and ended up with a reel to reel. This is not easy and with what you can do these days, it's kind of like the equivalent of doing deep old school research when you can now just go on google and have an answer instantly. It'd be hard to do it these days with the access to computers, but those style edits produce somethign special.
