A few words from the publisher: "Eight extended compositions on Michal Wolski's new record “La Mer” (Sea) recall those special moments when sound becomes a movement of a kinetic sculpture, an abstract painting, or a cinematic report from the Arctic solitude. Personal and introvert, yet simultaneously carrying certain universal message (cosmic loneliness? molecular life?), sound space created by Wolski manages to seduce listener and inhale her/him for whole 75 minutes. Associations with sculptural work with matter are not purely arbitrary. On his fourth full-length, artist consciously shapes complex and saturated form, further developing - on evidence on his earlier releases - penchant for exploring darker alleys of synthesis and sound design. In his varied and consistent narration, one can find a whole range of references to noblest protoplasts such as Pan Sonic, Rhythm & Sound, or even Vatican Shadow’s desert manipulation. However, the key to album’s consistency does not rely on the power of quote, it rather manifests itself in sheer scale and depth of imagined atmospheres and non-existent geographies. Known for his hypnotic and energetic productions and live performances @blazejmalinowskiofficial keeps a productive workflow and focuses on studio work and creating the right amount of energy. Currently based in Berlin, Blazej is a founder and curator of Inner Tension label– a platform where he can freely release his own productions, collaborations, and emerging artists in the scene.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Italian dj & producer Luigi Tozzi (Hypnus Records / Mental Modern).

Luigi Tozzi has calmly cemented his position as a leading DJ & producer of the deep techno scene for his distinct brand of techno that merges the sound of hypnotic techno with organic grooves from ambient and dub techno. 
Raised in Rome, he takes influence from the timeless Italian sound, which he’s further developed with an emotional, swirling, dubby atmosphere.
There’s an unmistakable texture to his productions.
Tozzi’s unswerving commitment to his sound, alongside his pensive and considered development as an artist has brought him to where he is today, with a touring schedule that’s taken him to some of the finest clubbing establishments around the world.
We are thrilled to present a one-hour session from Luigi, featuring many gems that perfectly conjure up the deep, dubby and trippy tonalities that characterise him so well.

Of life’s ebb and flow, it’s rhythm and groove, the beauty of its simple and subtle intricacies, the ever-evolving ride with its shifts and turns, calling to us to surrender if we truly want to relish in it.

It’s been a heavy start to the year and so we're filled with gratitude for the warmth this seamless, gentle and emotive ride gave us, easing us back into another stellar year for our podcast series.
