Luciens Bass

First demo of my newly acquired 50 year old handmade 4/4 Double Bass. The E string has to be replaced. It's a soft tension string in a hard (forte) string setup.

This is a quick demo. Played through an Ampeg B-15R amp with 12" speaker. This is the second version with less distortion.

In The Horizon - Maria Vikhamar & Edwin Paanakker

A customised fretless bass, made from a classical guitar. The top is reinforced with a rockmaple bar. This bass needs to be plugged in. It has 2 outputs. One for the passive JazzBass pickup, and one for the piezobridge. The first half of this sample is done with the piezo pickup. The endpiece is done with the JazzBass pickup.
