For the latest chapter in the Paulum Podcast series, we’re proud to present "archive" number 4, a deeply personal and beautifully curated mix by Scoopsi, a Berlin-based DJ and key part of the Zapped collective - a close creative ally of Paulum and a cornerstone of the city’s thriving underground scene.

Known for her warm, thoughtful selections, Scoopsi invites us into a world of subtle textures and deep rhythms. Recorded straight from the DJ booth of her Berlin workplace, this set weaves together forward-thinking minimal sounds with cherished older gems. It’s a journey shaped by memory and discovery, including a touching nod to the artist who first opened her ears to the genre years ago.

With previous Paulum appearances from Zapped artists like Jonaku, Annina, and OneKnock, this mix continues a shared conversation between two like-minded labels - and adds a new voice to the archive.

Since 2021, Rummels Bucht has been history. The gap it has left in Berlin has only grown bigger with each passing year. But for one weekend in May, it will be filled once more: with sparkling wine, teary eyes, eternal gratitude, and a few golden oldies! This is the original recording of my DJ set around saturday midnight. Thank you to all the loved ones who were part of that night – whether on the dancefloor or in my thoughts.

Seit 2021 ist die Rummels Bucht jetzt schon Geschichte. Die Lücke, die sie seitdem in Berlin hinterlassen hat, ist mit jedem Jahr größer geworden. Aber für ein Wochenende im Mai wird sie noch einmal zugeschüttet: mit Sekt, Kullertränchen, ewiger Dankbarkeit und ein paar ollen Kamellen! Hier die Original-Aufnahme meines DJ-Sets gegen Samstag Mitternacht. Danke an all die Liebsties, die an diesem Abend dabei waren – ob auf dem Dancefloor oder in meinen Gedanken.

PAULUM Records is proud to unveil a new milestone: our very first compilation series, a curated showcase of 12 artists from 7 different countries. Carefully assembled and split into three volumes, this collection highlights a diverse range of sounds while giving each track and artist the space and attention they deserve.

PAULUM011 VOL. 1 launches the series on July 24, featuring four outstanding producers who each bring their own voice to the label.

Returning to Paulum is Linus Duewer, the Hamburg-based artist who made his debut on PAULUM009. With his distinctive, groove-driven approach, Linus continues to define the label’s identity through subtlety and depth.

Also returning is Annina, a Finish artist whose remix on a previous Paulum release already hinted at her unique sensitivity and sonic precision. Her contribution here reaffirms her place as a rising voice in the scene.

Electronic Elephant, based in Berlin and a member of the Bladehouse family, brings a raw yet elegant touch to the compilation. With a strong connection to underground culture and a deep understanding of minimal aesthetics, his track adds both warmth and character.

Rounding off VOL. 1 is Robert Ostan, a respected producer from Romania making his Paulum debut. Known for his exceptional releases in the Ro-minimal space, Robert brings a refined, timeless quality to this collection.

This compilation series embodies the spirit of Paulum Records: international yet personal, forward-thinking yet rooted in timeless sound. Each volume invites you to dive deeper into the label’s evolving narrative.

The essence that defines the music from Belgian born, Berlin-based 
Max Donnet – known by the artist name of CookStrummer – is one that is threaded with obscure dreams, magical symbols and modern myths.

His music is an evocative blend of the organic and the electronic, a fresh mix of drum machines, guitars and synthesizers. Channelling his country’s famous Cold Wave movement, it’s adorned with House flourishes and influenced heavily by Berlin’s electronic music scene.
