The prolific bass explorer known as, Beatroots. Returns to Shanti Planti with his seventh release, Mood Movement. This subversive & charismatic young fellow from Mid Wales (UK) is also the mastermind behind, Brujo's Bowl. A project which has provided the progressive trance community with an eclectic bass & techfunk hybrid form of Zenonesque prog. His two projects are of a similar sound, and although they're not of the same bpms or style. They're both bound to a course with the same intention.

In this release, Saxon shows to us a tool which he was unsure to show at first. But decided that the message sung deemed it worthy. Track three, 'Solid Soul'. A minimal drum and bass feature with a twist of conscious lyricism, technical sound design and tactile textured bass lines, betrays yet another glimpse in to the extensive tastes that Saxon is inspired by.

The five other tracks take on the form of Bass Music & Deep Dubstep. Each with it's own vibe and hypnotic, perpetual crescendo. 'Mood Movement' and 'Rune Stone' bring on a techy dub and chord marauder high. Loaded with perpetual grooves and deepness that'll make those closed eye lids flicker along double time to that tappin' toe. 'The Lesson' and the remix of Circular's 'Constructive'. Recuperates the mind, body and soul by representing the importance of ritual and ceremony. Emotional and evocative, passionate and true. With bass lines to rattle the lungs within their ribcage. Last, but certainly not least, 'Sailor'. An experimental piece, that drives forward upon a half time Psytrance beat. Technical squelches and sound design accompanied by a few addictive licks from Saxon's accordion. Hence the name, 'Sailor'. In the near future, there is to be an assortment of 'Sailor' remixes due for release on Saxon's label, https://soundcloud.com/tripledropproductions. Keep an ear out and a toe to the ground, as I'm sure the rumble of their approach shouldn't be hard to miss.

Cooked Audio (Francesco Luigi Lenci) is a project born in Rome attracted to experimental music forms. He started to play piano and guitars at 9 years old, then at 17 he felt in love with synthetizers and computer music, so he started to play and experiment with music, first with Drum n Bass, Hip Hop and Techno beats, then he focused his production on Dubstep, Electro, Glitch and other contaminations. He has been strongly influenced by the new and always more strange sounds of the undergound movement.

He obtained a 3 years degree in Music Technologies (100-100), and a specialization in Sound Engineering and Sound Designing, do he has acquired an important recording, mixing, mastering, sound designing, composing and sound synthesis experience.

Ministry of Sound has partnered with Nissan to create the world's ultimate mobile sound system - the JUKE Box. Louder than a jumbo jet in take-off, the technical know-how for the JUKE Box comes from sound experts Martin Audio, who designed and built the current system in The Box - the main room at our London home.

Building on the Ministry of Sound ethos of 'creating the moments people live for', together with Nissan we turned to Martin Audio to create a 150 decibel, 18,900W sound system, which is completely self-sufficient in terms of power and production. Thanks to its custom-built 19 kilowatt rig, the JUKE Box's sound system fits into a standard Nissan JUKE. A set of custom-made cabinets and enclosures housing two 18inch powered sub units and the same Mid Hi enclosures that are used at Ministry of Sound enable exceptionally loud output without compromising on sound quality.

This is the first in a 2-part webisode below created to coincide with the Juke's debut at Le Mans 24 hour endurance race in June 2012, giving you a behind the scenes look at the JUKE Box coming to life - from invention through to realisation.
