It is said that hard times can forge a hard work ethic. For Marijan Raskovic, aka Jelly For The Babies, this is certainly the case. For Marijan, music is life. His first synthesiser was a Casio SA-20, and the 100 sound banks that it came with were enough to capture his heart. Coming from the time of a severe economic crash in Serbia, Marijan struggled for a better life, while learning the ins and outs of music production on his home computer.

Over the years, he has refined his approach, and his “Jelly For The Babies” moniker pioneers what he calls the “candy flavored sound.” Jelly For The Babies project was created in 2007th. Whole project is based mostly on melodic sounds with plenty of vocals mixed up in three different genres, Deep, Progressive and Tech House.

He is managing two labels, distributed by Proton, One Of A Kind, where he signed names such as Audio Junkies, Sonic Future, Bonaca, Framewerk, Inkfish, Subandrio, Kobana, etc., and The Purr Music, with the names such as Hraach, Savvas, Pion, Roque, Miroslav Pavlovic, Maarka, etc. List of supporter increases in addition to names such as Mendo, H.O.S.H., Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijnm Way Out West, Mark Knight, Stefano Noferini, Coqui Selection, Oliver Schories, Darin Epsilon, etc.

Most successful releases were in collaboration with Pole Folder, Audio Junkies, Inkfish, Oliver Lieb than singles and remixes on Balkan Connection, One Of A Kind, Lowbit, Nueva, Black Hole Recordings, Miocene, etc. Over 500 releases on various labels all around the globe.

With over two decades of experience behind her BEAN has had the pleasure of playing at some of Melbourne’s most iconic night clubs & festivals (including Qbar, Candy Bar, Brown Alley, Earthcore, Seven, MyAeon, Radar, Earthdance & the infamous Rainbow Serpent Festival (numerous times). She has supported a plethora of International DJ greats including: DNox, Infected Mushroom, Tiefschwarz, Peace Division, Fatali, Subandrio, Captain Hook & Simon Dunmore to name a few.

She has also hosted her own radio show on Melbourne’s most progressive underground dance music radio station, KISS FM & held down numerous weekly residences in Ibiza as well as monthly residencies in both London & Rome.

Her sound is heavily influenced by Progressive house legends Sasha and Digweed as well as both Nick Warren & Dave Seaman & and just like her mentors she revels in taking her punters on a journey.

Eva is a Russian native DJ who grew up in Toronto, Canada. She has been musically influenced throughout her entire life, classically trained second soprano choir singer, and a flute player.

She comes from a long line of musicians grasping early music knowledge from her grandfather who was a composer and a bass player. House music influenced a large portion of her adulthood initially by Toronto’s vibrant local dj scene and later through her travels to Europe and South America.

She just recently started dedicating time to express herself in her mixes, specifically following her passion for deeper, more refined sounds. In addition, Eva has started her promising producer career.

COOKie (Andrew Cook) has been obsessed with electronic music since the age of 18. After being inspired by what he saw others behind the decks doing he began to teach him self to mix records immediately Inspired by artists such as John Digweed, Maetrik, Citizen Kain, Boris Brejcha, Richie Hawtin and Gareth Whitehead, he continued to develop his style delving into anything between , Techno, House and Minimal.

Over the next few years COOKie would hone his skills to a level that would see him play some of the best clubs in Melbourne. Some of these include Lounge, Brown Alley, Miss Libertine, Bimbos, Killing Time, Circus, The Railway, My Aeon, Revolver and New Guernica. With seamless mixing, great track selection and an energy in his sets that keeps everyone fixated to the groove, COOKie’s skill and passion for the music really show out in his sets, with a thick, driving, rolling sound, high energy and a dash of funk, to always keep the punter moving.

COOKie has also recently played some of Melbourne’s outdoor parties and festivals, including Chi Wow Wah Town, Forgotten Kingdom and Local Produce. In April 2015 he was invited and flown over to play multiple sets at Afrikaburn festival in South Africa, the highlight of his DJ journey so far. In 2016 COOKie was again invited back to Afrikaburn Festival for a second year running after excelling with some outstanding sets the year before.

At he beginning of 2016 COOKie has launched his own Events and Touring Company called Morning After. That has seen tours and shows involving Citizen Kain (France), Gareth Whitehead (UK), Roberto Capuano (Italy), Silicone Soul (UK), Marco Bailey (Belgium), Edu Imbernon (Spain), Matt Sassari (France), Loco and Jam (Ireland) and Alberto Ruiz (Spain), collaborating with some of Melbourne’s finest crews and hosting some of Melbourne’s best local talent. Morning After have some more International guests lined up for the end of 2017 with 2018 shaping up to be another huge step forward for Morning After as they look to cement a consistent place in the Melbourne scene.
