Who remembers the pirate radio station based in Grimsby & Cleethorpes, in the 1990's, Cool FM?

It started out as a one man operation in 1994,from a bedroom on the Nunsthorpe estate in Grimsby.

Over the next few years, it had built up a good team..

Cool FM became very popular within Grimsby & Cleethorpes.

In 1997 the station made it into the local newspaper 'Grimsby Telegraph'.
The article gave it a lot of backing and support.

In 1999 due to the station not having an Official Broadcasting Licence,It was taken off the air by the Radiocommunications Agency (Now 'Ofcom')
